    "Ma'am, real Born again Christians,
when someone tries to lead them do another direction other than what Jesus taught, see he's the word that became flesh no matter who God speaks through it's God's word if they're being truthful but when other people come up with their slants that harms other Christians they will be responsible for that, God says he's going to judge us for every idle word we speak, and yes I could use some prayer myself I'm not perfect,
I'm sensing you're speaking from another Spirit other than "GOD, I GUESS WE'RE ALL GUILTY IN A CERTAIN WAY LIKE WHEN WE THINK WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY AND HOW WE INTERPRET THE WORD OF GOD SOMEHOW MEANS WHAT WE DECIDE IT MEANS, wouldn't you want to make sure, it says in the word that if anybody teaches anything other than what Christ preached let him be accursed, so even for a Christian it takes a lot of prayer and reading and talking to the father to make sure that he's hearing and understanding what God has had to say in his word, I'm sure that the man next to you can tell you what I'm talking about without letting your own self and what you think get in the way of what the word actually God bless you, in this thing you're talking about being sent to a network or to go to a psychologist psychology is the opposite of Christianity, I've been through psychology and I was very productive but when they found out I knew Jesus they told me oh we don't think we can help you here, and then I tried to help him understand that psychology has nothing to do with spiritual matters, regardless of the new age teachings and different things they do in meditating and stuff like that they're getting these people in psychologist classes to do, me myself I'm just going to stick with the word that became flesh and dwelt among Us and whom the father is well pleased and not put myself before other people or how I interpret the word above what it actually says, have a nice evening have a Merry Christmas.

Yes, so of course PBS is going to interview a so-called Bible scholar who is an atheist...that really makes a lot of sense. But that's par for the course for PBS when they have any programs that deal with historical Christianity or the bible, they always interview left-wing, liberal Scholars from ivy league universities. I have never ONCE heard an interview from a scholar from a conservative Seminary or college such as Fuller Theological Seminary or Dallas Theological Seminary. Oh yes, PBS is completely balanced and unbiased. And yes, I am being sarcastic!

Any a biblical scholar that manages to not become an atheist in the course of his/her scholarship isn’t much of a scholar.
And if you were paying attention, Bart Erman was in the theological business before he became a scholar. So he actually underwent the logical conversion to atheism by thinking critically about the material before him.

      1. He’s not an atheist. He said he’s agnostic
      2. Ivy League = bad??
      3. You’ve never heard from a scholar of a seminary school at all?
