In my town there is a community of swifties, so we made a big party (there was 100 people). We rented a place, made a cake, candies with all Taylor’s eras, we danced to Taylor’s songs for 4 ours and were all so happy!) Also: my swiftie og story. I went on Spotify November 12 2021, and I saw Red TV and I listened to it and it was it. It was an amazing year in my life and I’m looking forward for more. I had known some of her songs back before 2019, but not really a fan, like I didn’t even know Love Story, Blank Space, and LWYMMD. In 2019 when I was trying to get to the college, somehow I searched every single news about what happened to her in 2016, and started to fall for this woman. So I have considered myself a Swiftie since Lover era. First time bought her album, first time joined a mini Lover Session we held ourselves, and yeah, I have been a Swiftie since then, and started to learn guitar because of her too, and I love my life with Taylor in it 😊

However, through your videos and this youtube community, I've learned to appreciate and enjoy Taylor Swift as a musician and a person. My favorite Taylor Swift song is Untouchable from the Fearless album (Platinum Edition) and Fearless Taylor's version. It's a cover that Taylor made of the song written by Luna Halo. Taylor's cover was so good that Luna Halo made a cover of Taylor's cover version of their own song. Happy B-day Taylor. I can put this song on repeat for hours and never get tired of listening to it. Maybe, one day you can do a guitar tutorial on it.

i didn't want to comment immediately, but here's my swiftie origin story! it's weirdly really similar to yours, but im a little behind. I was born 10 months before fearless, however, growing up i heard you belong with me and i knew you were trouble all the time and they were definitely my favorite. when 1989 came out, my parents got me the CD for Christmas and i would listen to it every night before going to sleep. (i would rarely make it past out of the woods without falling asleep) a few months after i got a "taylor swift haircut" because she was my idol. kids started making fun of me for listening to taylor swift (this was just after she faded from the public) so i stopped listening to her. (i never took the cd out, because she was all i would listen to) i remember being very surprised when i heard look what you made me do on the radio and i fell in love, but because i had no idea what was going on in the world, i thought it was just one song. I remember lover came out and one girl in my class was talking about it, and another girl said "ew taylor swift is bad" i remember going home and listening to ME and you need to calm down on youtube and falling in love. i loved her pop but i only knew her popular songs plus all of 1989. when evermore and folklore came out i was in my weird middle school phase, and i didn't like the new music. it wasn't until hearing mr. perfectly fine t.v for the first time on the radio that something clicked in my head. after that, i went home, and for the next few months listened to fearless t.v nonstop. i then listened to speak now non-stop, then red t.v when it came out, i could skip 1989 for the time, rep, lover, and finally im in my nonstop folklore evermore stage. since I've been listening to taylor swift every minute of every day this year, i know pretty much all of her songs, and im so excited to go to the eras tour! this is definitely longer than it has to be, but if you read all of it, thank you!
I definitely cannot pick a favourite Taylor song but I can say my swiftie origin story. So basically I've known about Taylor for a good few years, since like 1989 era and I knew only a handful of her songs like literally a couple singles from Red, 1989 and reputation. Then last year around September-October time, I had a really big phase of listening to reputation over and over again, and one of my internet friends (who is now my number one bestie) recommended that I checked out some of Taylor's other albums because I might like them and that I should listen to Red (Taylor's Version) when it came out. And so I checked out Red TV and became such a huge fan, like it was all I listened to for about a month and a half. And then slowly and one by one I checked out all of Taylor's other albums, ending with Taylor Swift debut a few months ago and now, according to my bestie, I'm a fully fledged swiftie!
here’s my origin story. so the first song i heard from her ever was “crazier” and i LOVED it. i had the hannah montana movie cd so i would listen to it on repeat. so in 3rd grade was when all the red singles came out so i knew them. i then went to the red tour with my friend the next august and got fearless and red cd’s for christmas. i then started listening to red on repeat (still my fave album to this day). so that summer by then i was a big fan (but def not as big as i am now)and would always listen to her on pandora and watch all her music videos. i also went to nashville that spring and listened to 1989 the whole time. then for a few years i didn’t keep up or listen to her as much. fast forward to 2020 when folklore came out, i heard it and thought it was so good. then last spring i started listening to her music again then i listened to all her albums and since then i’ve kept up with her more and more, listened to her songs all the time, and learned more about her as a person and the stuff she’s gone through. and i now know i will be a swiftie for life💗
i celebrated by writing taylor swift day on the whiteboard in my classroom so all my students knew what an important day it was 😂 all time favourite song has to be enchanted 💗
I can’t really pick a favorite song but here’s my swiftie origin story: I think I kind of always knew who Taylor Swift was, but growing up I didn’t listen to much music. When lover came out I was absolutely obsessed with the song Lover and me and my sister in law would play it all the time. I think that’s when I became a swiftie. I kind of forgot about Taylor/ just didn’t listen to music that much until Midnights came out. So now I’ve been discovering all of her songs and even trying to learn them on guitar.
Ahhh I loved this! For her birthday, I dressed as Red era (like the 22 video) and my friends all wore 13s on their hands! I also listened to a lot of her music, but that’s a usual thing.😭👏🏽

I always loved Never Grow Up but I feel a lot more respect for it now that I am a mom. Looking at my 2 year old daughter and singing Never Grow Up is a feeling I can never explain mostly since I have been a fan for so long and heard it so many times but it never felt the same after I gave birth
My swiftie origin, wow. Hmm, well, on my 10 year birthday (July 2010) my parents gave me a record player as a present. And my aunt gave to me a "Disney Jam" CD. It had songs from High School Musical, Miley Cyrus and things like that. But the track 3 was "Teardrops On My Guitar". And I loved it. So, I played the CD over and over again. And I kept listening to her singles, specially the Speak Now and Red ones. With Red I became a swiftie, but not like die hard fan. And I think that has to do with the fact that I didn't kinda understand how and album worked back then. I don't know why, I just thought just singles existed (I know is kinda absurd, but that was 13 years old me). So yeah, I was already a fan and my friends did knew I really liked Taylor. Anyway, I kept listen to her singles religiously until Lover. And then, some random night of 2019 I decided to play all of Lover. And I completely fell in love (sure, a clever pun) with it. So I said to myself: " I must listen to all of her discography now that I understand what an album is and that singles are not the only songs that artists have." So I listened all of them, starting from the most recent ones to the debut. And I realized that 12 years old me was really clever, since I've recognized myself as a Taylor fan with Red, and it became my favourite album (yup, a red girlie over here). So yeah, is kind of like a three part story. So, now I'm the swiftie friend that shows Taylor music to everyone around.

I got a spotify account in 2019 and that's when I finally got to listen to the albums from start to finish, but I really wasn't in the mood to. that happened to folklore, evermore and fearless tv as well. I listened to red tv all the way through, the day it came out. and that's how I found you and ally sheehan, my favorite youtuber swifties. you two made me curious enough to listen to the discography in full. so, just in 2022 my obsession began. but it was obsession per album. first reputation. it was all I could listen to for months (so much so that my most streamed song on spotify wrapped *and* youtube recap was RFI). then, folklore obsession started. then fearless tv, then red tv, then speak now (that one was huge). and finally midnights. the first era I truly participated from the start, listened to the whole album on repeat. I'm still missing the obsession with debut, 1989, lover and evermore. that's why I don't know if I can actually consider me a swiftie, but we'll see from here on which album obsession will be next

my swiftie story is i've been around since day 1 lol i loved her from debut (I'm like 5 yrs and a month and 15mins younger than taylor cause i was almost born on a friday the 13th but was technically born the 14th and in jan instead of dec so it's close enough in age to be going through stuff as her music came out about it lol). I think why i love her music so much is because i can always relate to what she writes about even if it's not in exactly the same way. But i was kinda not online much (except for lurking purposes i was just too shy to get online) until right around 1989 and i got to see her for the 1st time on her reputation tour i saw her denver show and it was one of the best nights of my life! i didn't want to comment immediately, but here's my swiftie origin story! it's weirdly really similar to yours, but im a little behind. I was born 10 months before fearless, however, growing up i heard you belong with me and i knew you were trouble all the time and they were definitely my favorite. when 1989 came out, my parents got me the CD for Christmas and i would listen to it every night before going to sleep. (i would rarely make it past out of the woods without falling asleep) a few months after i got a "taylor swift haircut" because she was my idol. kids started making fun of me for listening to taylor swift (this was just after she faded from the public) so i stopped listening to her. (i never took the cd out, because she was all i would listen to) i remember being very surprised when i heard look what you made me do on the radio and i fell in love, but because i had no idea what was going on in the world, i thought it was just one song. I remember lover came out and one girl in my class was talking about it, and another girl said "ew taylor swift is bad" i remember going home and listening to ME and you need to calm down on youtube and falling in love. i loved her pop but i only knew her popular songs plus all of 1989. when evermore and folklore came out i was in my weird middle school phase, and i didn't like the new music. it wasn't until hearing mr. perfectly fine t.v for the first time on the radio that something clicked in my head. after that, i went home, and for the next few months listened to fearless t.v nonstop. i then listened to speak now non-stop, then red t.v when it came out, i could skip 1989 for the time, rep, lover, and finally im in my nonstop folklore evermore stage. since I've been listening to taylor swift every minute of every day this year, i know pretty much all of her songs, and im so excited to go to the eras tour! this is definitely longer than it has to be, but if you read all of it, thank you!
I definitely cannot pick a favourite Taylor song but I can say my swiftie origin story. So basically I've known about Taylor for a good few years, since like 1989 era and I knew only a handful of her songs like literally a couple singles from Red, 1989 and reputation. Then last year around September-October time, I had a really big phase of listening to reputation over and over again, and one of my internet friends (who is now my number one bestie) recommended that I checked out some of Taylor's other albums because I might like them and that I should listen to Red (Taylor's Version) when it came out. And so I checked out Red TV and became such a huge fan, like it was all I listened to for about a month and a half. And then slowly and one by one I checked out all of Taylor's other albums, ending with Taylor Swift debut a few months ago and now, according to my bestie, I'm a fully fledged swiftie!

here’s my origin story. so the first song i heard from her ever was “crazier” and i LOVED it. i had the hannah montana movie cd so i would listen to it on repeat. so in 3rd grade was when all the red singles came out so i knew them. i then went to the red tour with my friend the next august and got fearless and red cd’s for christmas. i then started listening to red on repeat (still my fave album to this day). so that summer by then i was a big fan (but def not as big as i am now)and would always listen to her on pandora and watch all her music videos. i also went to nashville that spring and listened to 1989 the whole time. then for a few years i didn’t keep up or listen to her as much. fast forward to 2020 when folklore came out, i heard it and thought it was so good. then last spring i started listening to her music again then i listened to all her albums and since then i’ve kept up with her more and more, listened to her songs all the time, and learned more about her as a person and the stuff she’s gone through. and i now know i will be a swiftie for life💗
i celebrated by writing taylor swift day on the whiteboard in my classroom so all my students knew what an important day it was 😂 all time favourite song has to be enchanted 💗

I can’t really pick a favorite song but here’s my swiftie origin story: I think I kind of always knew who Taylor Swift was, but growing up I didn’t listen to much music. When lover came out I was absolutely obsessed with the song Lover and me and my sister in law would play it all the time. I think that’s when I became a swiftie. I kind of forgot about Taylor/ just didn’t listen to music that much until Midnights came out. So now I’ve been discovering all of her songs and even trying to learn them on guitar.

I always loved Never Grow Up but I feel a lot more respect for it now that I am a mom. Looking at my 2 year old daughter and singing Never Grow Up is a feeling I can never explain mostly since I have been a fan for so long and heard it so many times but it never felt the same after I gave birth

My swiftie origin, wow. Hmm, well, on my 10 year birthday (July 2010) my parents gave me a record player as a present. And my aunt gave to me a "Disney Jam" CD. It had songs from High School Musical, Miley Cyrus and things like that. But the track 3 was "Teardrops On My Guitar". And I loved it. So, I played the CD over and over again.
And I kept listening to her singles, specially the Speak Now and Red ones. With Red I became a swiftie, but not like die hard fan. And I think that has to do with the fact that I didn't kinda understand how and album worked back then. I don't know why, I just thought just singles existed (I know is kinda absurd, but that was 13 years old me).
So yeah, I was already a fan and my friends did knew I really liked Taylor.
Anyway, I kept listen to her singles religiously until Lover. And then, some random night of 2019 I decided to play all of Lover. And I completely fell in love (sure, a clever pun) with it. So I said to myself: " I must listen to all of her discography now that I understand what an album is and that singles are not the only songs that artists have."
So I listened all of them, starting from the most recent ones to the debut. And I realized that 12 years old me was really clever, since I've recognized myself as a Taylor fan with Red, and it became my favourite album (yup, a red girlie over here). So yeah, is kind of like a three part story.
So, now I'm the swiftie friend that shows Taylor music to everyone around.

My origin story I stated when in like 3rd grade my school did their indoor color guard show NYC and it was to Welcome to New York. I saw it and i loved the song so much I went home and listened to all of 1989
I never was a huge fan of “never grow up” until I had my three nieces, now when I listen to it I think of their little baby selves and how big they get so quickly and how I wish I could stop time ❤️ 😭 Taylor is one year younger than me (almost to the day, she’s the 13th 1989 I’m the 14th 1988) but wayyyy wiser beyond her years than me 😆

I always liked taylor swift, but she wasn't popular in my country until fearless era with the music videos, that's why I didn't listened to the debut album. she became really huge here after a feature with paula fernandes, a big country brazilian singer at the time. I was always a casual listener, the hits were great, the music videos were too. I've always followed her in social media and was at the right side of history in 2016.
I got a spotify account in 2019 and that's when I finally got to listen to the albums from start to finish, but I really wasn't in the mood to. that happened to folklore, evermore and fearless tv as well.
I listened to red tv all the way through, the day it came out. and that's how I found you and ally sheehan, my favorite youtuber swifties. you two made me curious enough to listen to the discography in full.
so, just in 2022 my obsession began. but it was obsession per album. first reputation. it was all I could listen to for months (so much so that my most streamed song on spotify wrapped *and* youtube recap was RFI).
then, folklore obsession started. then fearless tv, then red tv, then speak now (that one was huge).
and finally midnights. the first era I truly participated from the start, listened to the whole album on repeat.
I'm still missing the obsession with debut, 1989, lover and evermore. that's why I don't know if I can actually consider me a swiftie, but we'll see from here on which album obsession will be next

my swiftie story is i've been around since day 1 lol i loved her from debut (I'm like 5 yrs and a month and 15mins younger than taylor cause i was almost born on a friday the 13th but was technically born the 14th and in jan instead of dec so it's close enough in age to be going through stuff as her music came out about it lol). I think why i love her music so much is because i can always relate to what she writes about even if it's not in exactly the same way. But i was kinda not online much (except for lurking purposes i was just too shy to get online) until right around 1989 and i got to see her for the 1st time on her reputation tour i saw her denver show and it was one of the best nights of my life! I'm hoping to get enough tickets to take a few sisters , 2 cousins and my bff and i can see her this tour but we'll see....
