If you’re going for a similar combo, after doing down 4, 4 keep holding 4 so when you go to backlash all you have to do is press 3 to switch stance. I will always hold down either 3 or 4 before switching stance to perform backlash

press f or ff with a slight wait also i think the proprties change after once or twice
training, watch basukas hwoarang challenges i think it was day1 thats helps a lot to understand the mechanic about backlash
