    No offense meant, but its kind of funny. The sunfish love you. Sometimes it seems like you could fill a pool with 12 bass and put 1 sunfish in there and you would catch the sunfish first. 😁😉

    I love these new lure videos. It brings something new to the channel. It's not just a usual trout magnet type of video (which are still great). But it adds a bit of variety and we get to see how well you can use something else. Plus...I love the mystery that comes along with it. There are a ton of popular lures out there, but also tons of oddities. Who knows what will be next. This is fun because you never know what type of fish you'll get on them. As for those that are hating because you're using smaller lures and only getting smaller fish...a small hook can catch small fish AND big fish, but a big one will usually just catch a big fish. You're a multi-species angler and this allows more variety for you to catch. Plus I can't wait for you to catch something big on a tiny lure and just look at the camera and give a big "I told you so" to doubters haha.

    Hi Leo.The lure you need to try for a review is the Bagley Bang O Lure # 4 that has a Black back Gold Foil and a red bottom with a tail spinner on it. It is of 1\4 oz and it is a topwater lure too. I catch big basses on the lure but the lure is hard to find here in Louisiana. Try it and you will like it too. God Bless you and your Family. Take Care and stay safe and how is your Dad doing too.

    I've recently been catching sunfish on a little squarebill. Thanks to some heavy rains, some sunfish have been bedding again. I think they were more chasing a pest, than going after a potential meal, when they attacked my lures.

    Epf I love this lure review but I always have a problem w the retrieval of the lures and the hook set. So if u could include how to actually fish the bait that would make this sooooo much better. If u look up lure retrieval there are barely any videos on this much less on specific baits i.e. hard bait, soft plastics, jerk baited etc. Thanks and keep up the amazing videos.

    The sunfish are probably bedding and are defensively hitting the lures. You can throw almost anything at a bedding sunfish and get them to bite.

  • @Johnblackbass
    @Johnblackbass 6 лет назад

    The fish behaviour described by Rapala is typical of the Zanders. They hunt school of baits in pack, killing and injuring as much as they can, and after the slaughter they go back eating the injured ones. A really cool fish to catch !

    awesome video lol i love those x rap slash bait. not because i caught fish with it but because of their swim action and how universal it can be plus plays really well to some situations especially wen the fish r in deeper water or wen the fish is fussy and you need that extra action that you dont normally get on a spinner. plus also like how the feathered tail hook also provides extra life on the lure too. been spending too much money on them though XD haha lost count how much i bought over the last year since i started trout fishing haha

    Crushed barbs make your life easier and improve your technique. Easier to release fish, not a big deal if you hook yourself, do less damage to the fish. There's only 2 cons. It's easier to foul hook fish and you have to keep tension on the fish or it'll get off. The latter improves your fishing skill though.
