Thank you for doing this unboxing and side-by-side comparison between the vintage and reissue versions, especially the date versus no date. In my mind, this video has helped me feel a lot better about pulling the trigger for a black dial, no-date version - the fit and finish seem pretty decent for the US$1150 price range; also the milled clasp and solid end links look very well made versus the stamped clasp and folded links on the vintage piece. I have a few thoughts in response to the others in the comments section: Is the F77 heavily inspired by the Royal Oak? Of course it is; there is hardly a genuinely fresh and new design in the watch world for under $2K these days (barring the truly weird and wonderful). It's hard enough for brands to break away from their own heritage, and honestly the Royal Oak is a little too blocky for my liking; I like this design on its own merits - box sapphire crystal, generous chamfers/facets that slim down the case, and a unique dial texture that you don't see anywhere else. Would this F77 fare any better against the Tissot PRX? I guess I'll have to report back when I get my own example and do a comparison with my PRX Powermatic 80. My gut feel is that the F77's 45mm L2L dimension will wear better versus the PRX L2L dimension of 51mm. I have a 7.25" - 7.5" wrist and the PRX just about looks okay on me. Also, the F77 has a screw-down crown that I believe would fare better for water resistance versus the PRX's push-pull crown. Regarding the Yema Wristmaster Traveller - a significant part of my decision to put my money on the F77 is because the Soprod 024 is a supposedly reliable/reputable movement based off the ETA 2824. In early 2022, I bought and a brand new Yema 3000-based watch off the Yema website; the movement died after
Yema seems to be a good option, yes. I confess that I am in doubt. But you need to consider that if you like to try some color Yema only has the black option. And this textured Nivada dial is killer.
Does anybody know who is producing these Nivada re-issues? Their online customer service support did not want to answer me this question! The Nivada website is in English language, prices are listed in Dollars which is a bit strange for an allegedly Swiss Made watch! Service Centers are in Switzerland, Hongkong and USA per their website. But they do not produce obviously. All very strange!
@@watchunboxing Thank you for the info! I now found out about Guillaume Laidet who is holding the rights and Montrichard produces for him. So the brand has resurrected but production is maybe then China or so. But the quality seems to be really good so all is good from there but I‘d preferred more openness from their website support. Regards from Wiesbaden!
@@watchunboxingThis is funny Dwayne Johnson is 196 cm I am 199 cm his weight is 115 kg mine is 128 kg and my wrist size is 22 cm by the way the truth 👍 Now you hopefully understand where I am coming from 😔

Great thoughts! Thank you for posting
The Tissot PRX seems like a better value proposition when you compare it to this..
But it’s not a homage to the Royal Oak.
Is there any articulation on that end link? Seems to add to the overall lug to lug measurements stated
Did you get the fta certificate of origin when you buy a watch?
I didn't buy it. This is a prototype it has made before the launch
Hello. Ty 4 this content. Just One question: wrist size?
17 cm !
Awesome watch
?
How did you get a hold of this watch as the first batch ships out in June, next September? Thank for uploading!
I m an insider and my father is flirting with Nivada 's mother ;)
@@watchunboxing Can't blame him, she's gorgeous
Looks like a 80 bucks AP homage.
🙀
What ? No lmao this thing has history top
In the process of buying a vintage one.
You should !
@@watchunboxing Got it. Loved it. One question, is it supposed to hack?
you have gloves on but hit them off the table ????
It's an unboxing video, but it can also be a testing review 🤗
Ci vorrebbe un Nivada, comprane uno.
Is the date bigger then the no date?
Nop
Is this a prototype? the finishing looks awful!
These are prototypes. Ordering hasn’t started. Delivery isn’t until late summer or early fall 2023.
Looks fine to me. Are you blind?
I agree that the finishing could be better, especially on the bezel and top of the case. I hope that this is chalked up to prototyping.
I think he thinks the vintage one is the watch lol
@@cozxmos I’m thinking so too.
Rather have a Yema Wristmaster Traveller

Not same price neither
So the movement might then be made in Swiss but the case and bracelet could then be perhaps from China?
Wats your wrist size?
17 cm !
and honestly for a +1000 watch the box could be a bit better, looks like a aliexpress watchbox
Any clarification and information on who the true producer is are much welcome!
Montrichard

Poor clasp.
😲
43 mm and it would be a watch for humans
Are you Dwayne Johnson ? I think he is not human 👀🙈
