I don't own a crossbow nor do I think I ever will but I do not object to anyone getting one. Have put in my response to the consultation. Most of this has been prompted by an incident up here in Yorkshire where a man was shot and killed and a woman injured by a previous partner of the woman; you showed a brief glimps of this in your presentation. Whilst I feel for the woman in question, her catharsis cannot be at the expense of every other crossbow user. Shooting is a very broad church and if we turn our backs on every bit that doesn't directly effect us, then the time will soon come where our cosy little niche is threatened.
