Thanks for the video! Was wading through listicles to find some couch co-ops to play with the fam this weekend. I've played most of these, but definitely a few titles I'd never known were co-op.
For Pikmin 3, would we need to have played the first two in order not to be confused?

Haha thanks for watching. Pikmin 3 is totally fine to play without playing the others. The story isn’t very important. But the co-op gameplay is some of the best of Switch. Highly recommended!

Was trying to look for ps5 games that are couch co-op for grown ups and they are basically non existent, you have diablo 4 , baulders gate 3, borderlands 3, lost planet 2, one of the call of dutys, a game called the quarry , idk , just not many at all. I see the switch is the same way:( sad.
Are you mostly looking for M rated games? I mean, Switch has way more couch co-op than PS5. These are just the exclusives. There are countless indie and multi platform games as well. There should be something for everyone on Switch!

Thanks for the informative video! I was playing the newest Kirby with my sister and she doesn't like the limitations of being Waddle Dee, and neither do I. Kirby Return to Dreamland looks like way more fun for co-op.

Nice list. I will give kirby games a go. I thought it was suited for very young children but looks like a lot of fun for all ages.couple of coop games i will add are “Guns Gore and canolli 1 & 2”. Great job mate!

Sonic Superstars has a 4 player co op mode, although not an exclusive
I love sonic superstars!
Not to be a stick in the mud but River Survival is from Super Mario Party, not Mario Party Superstars.
One of the many reasons why I actually preferred Super Mario Party.

Art of balance - for some reason that’s the party game that grabs all of guest’s attention, amazing competitive physics-based puzzle game, try it out!
Fast RMX - one of a kind anti-gravity racing game, plays great in coop with up to 4 players
Cruis’n blast - that’s basically burnout with Mario kart drifting, some licensed cars and a lot of cool stages
Death squared - although non-exclusive, this is an amazing game for two players that likes to prank you and requires communication with your partner
Oh, and also spiritfarer! Not many people know there is a coop mode
Love spiritfarer!
Brothers, Cave story, mario 3d world, mario maker, and stretchers look fun!

I HIGHLY recommend. It has us rolling in tears every time we all play, up to 4 players. It's literally retroducks in hats with mini guns and you can press a button to make them quack while battling!

Most Nintendo games are great with kids. I’ve been playing Mario Wonder and Sonic Superstars with my five year old daughter. She also love Mario 3d world.

Those games just aren’t very co-op focused.
@@ClassicCo-opthanks. I figured it was a difference between co-op and multi-player. I'm guessing the co-op would be to "co-op"erate to beat each level vs "multi-player"s who may compete against eachother.

21:40 umm, did we play different games? Odyssey cappy gets lost off camera easily. Cappy can force mario to jump killing him. Having cappy out limits marios aerial options. I appreciate your positivity but i dont think Odyssey is a good coop experience.

I will say Mario wonder has the same problem as Bowser fury. Everything is way more zoomed in than super Mario bros, so if the main character runs ahead, the rest are left to die literally. I tried playing for a bit, but it was very difficult to play with someone who just ran ahead. Also, I HATE that you cant interact with other characters anymore. You cant pick each other up or bounce off each others heads. That was the funny part of playing multiplayer that would have us wheezing!
Yeah, it’s a game that definitely requires you to work in sync. I love it though. I would get so mad with all of the collision in NSMB haha.

@@koalamusik It’s a competitive game. There are some team modes, like battles, but I’m covering full cooperative modes.
I have two switches and a single nintendo account. Therefore I can't play Aiisha. Therefore those devs don't earn my money.
Yeah, they should’ve used a friend pass option like it takes two.
