It was a sort of fund raising concert to the memory of those lives lost in tsunami 2004 in Indonesia and Thailand. There played almost all Finnish international artists and band who where in Finland at that time. All wanted to be a part of that show organised for a good and important cause...
I don't understand the comments about their singing - they sound perfectly fine, with the added raw quality of being "live". I haven't seen HIM in concert, but I've seen The Rasmus and they sounded really, really god (which honestly surprised me, because truth be told, I didn't expect a lot of them. I've been a fan of them ever since). For a real difference between "live" and "studio", watch Avril Lavigne concerts in her early days.

This song definetely calls for the contrast... it needed the passion found in Lauri's upper register and it needed the mournful quality from Ville's lower register... Ville is a technitian! a real vocal master....
Great energy between 2:15 and 2:35! Ville and Lauri are so powerful... it's like an internal monologue. Lauri's part is the pained, desperate voice in this person's head; while Ville's part is calm and has given in to his fate of pain.
Lauri normally does sound very good when he is singing live but I guess it must be hard singing this song but I still love him and he does sound much better towards the end! :)
