    What a great example you set for guys like me. I haven’t been hunting very long but seeing you do things like pass up a perfectly legal bear really inspires me. Just one of the things that makes you a very successful hunter. Thanks Buddy Great Footage!!!!

    That was a good hunt in my book, I've only had deer an hogs or deer an turkeys come in, never a bear tho, just wow. It looked like you were 30ft up, how high were you ? at least nobody picked up your scent. Thx for the vid

    nice hunt yeah I wouldn't of shot either I'm strictly a Deer man don't get to kill much but I do get to watch a lot of things I sure would of liked to of been up in that stand Lol. Shoot I thought a 10pt buck was gonna walk in next hahaha good luck to yeah I might go on my first hunt next week I haven't really decided yet it's first come first serve and I haven't hunted there in about 35 years scouted it a few times over the summer

    Why do you think you have to sit 30-35 feet up a tree ?

      Different areas require different heights for me. In this particular area with the height that I was, I was able to see 75% of the entire palmetto patch. It also helps with allowing you a slight bit more of “room for error” in reference to your movements and scent dispersal.
