This was awesome I’m a big fan of all you guys. Watching Kalei and Corey mess around and have fun is pure gold! Plus I love to hear their opinions on all things Ukes. I appreciate you guys putting a these out. I hope they keep coming and as often as possible. Have a good one.
These videos are always so entertaining. You guys are amazing players and you are having fun. Love it. I always find string reviews very useful. Thank you!
I just love listening to you boys play. So inspiring. On my channel I play a few different ukes. Primarily I play a Cordoba CK25 (concert). I'm primarily a guitarist. Really started taking the ukulele serious about 8 months ago. I love it. Now I play it more than guitar, lol. But, the world of strings on uke seems so much different than that on guitar and electric guitar. I had black nylon on my uke, changed it to Aquila NylGut months back. It made it louder. But to me, it almost sounds more like a small classical guitar now with not a lot of life. Tobias said to try out Fluorocarbon. So that's my next move. Do most of you prefer Fluorocarbon over NylGut? Thank you all. I'm so inspired to play and play and play. The vids on my channel are just phone recording. But that's NylGut. I'm not sure if it's my thing yet. Gotta experiment more.
@HawaiiMusicSupply - You guys mentioned you like worth brown on Kanile'a but low G as C. Can you elaborate a bit more on that? Do you put on the unwound plain low G that comes with brown low G string set as C and put a wound string like Fremont Soloist as G?
Do you have to alter the nut when you change to low g or does it depend on which low g strings you change to? Another fantastic podcast keep them coming.
W Schield - I have the same strings on my Kala solid mahogany tenor and they sound wonderful - also that Soloist string will last years!!. As for the difference - well, the Soloist is a wound and polished string whilst the Blacklines are not - lol!!
So... Tell us more about this "using low G as the C." Is this common with Ukulele musicians? Does it only apply to Worth Browns? Would they still do this on a high G setup, ie use the Worth low G on the C and the high G on the G? This is shocking news! Tell us more! :)

Curious why you guys didn’t include Pepe Romero fluorocarbon strings in this video? We’re found they are amazing especially on Kanilea ukes.

Ah you just answered the question forget I asked that.
I love the Fremont Black line with the low G I purchased from you. I’m curious, what’s the difference between the Soloist and Black Line? Thank you.
