I've got 3 Passports obtained through family heritage. It's not an easy process, and as Andrew mentioned, it can be a hassle getting all the paperwork in order, but well worth it if you can do it.

    The best package is :
1 Get passport of Grenada by donation.
2 Get permanent residency of Columbia by either real estate investment or by opening a company.
3 Establish a corporation in Georgia (no tax on worldwide income)
4 Take tax free residency of Malaysia.
    5 VOILA.

Just checked about Canadian citizenship: spending roughly 7 months a year in Canada during 5 years is enough to be eligible (well, if you fulfill all the other requirements). That's absolutely fair, considering that my second citizenship took me 7 years. If one can manage to optimize taxes, I think it can cost much less than investing somewhere else.

We ended ordering food take out back to our room where we can talk more freely. I can have a meal with my wife in my room. Not sure if I am willing to do the same with a business friend/partner.

i have lived in Europe for years and finally needed to renew my UK passport so took the time to also apply for my son , who holds a different citizenship by birth. The whole process was quite easy , but just needed to be a little careful on obtaining official original documents ( no photocopies , only documents provided and stamped by the civil authorities , then translated into English ) The whole thing took about three weeks before his UK passport came through the letter box . The most complicated part was getting all the information as everywhere on the internet said he is a citizen at birth , although there are no official papers to show proof ... a bit odd but all very easy in the end , now he has the official citizenship of both his birthplace and the UK . His mum on the other hand can not claim UK citizenship due to having never lived there . The one thing I found out is he can’t pass on his newly aquired citizenship to his children if they are born overseas .

Naturalization would be my best route for lack of foreign family origins. Anyway, I am planning for the long term and actually buying property, setting up business and spending a few months a year. Following the 25Celcius weather where I'm treated best around the world while saving on taxes is my goal.

Interesting seeing the options that are out there. In Australia there were a whole lot of politicians that had to quit their jobs as they didn't realise they were dual citizens by heritage and dual citizenship isn't allowed for Australian politicians. That second passport can be a help or a hinderance, depending on your unique situation!

What my biggest concern is, is the paperwork. I have dual citizenship as well as the GC and I have to do so much paperwork for each country for taxes and other requirements. I am just a normal working person, but filling the taxes and doing various other paperwork is a nightmare, so I am now thinking what is the simplest thing to do and just settle in one place and get rid of all the other paperwork.

@@Crusder1000 If you want "fast" (in the Caribbean), go with Dominica or St. Lucia. As for Latin America, the only one that's "fast" is Peru; and for that, you've got to pay $25K... then reside in the country for two years, and then demonstrate proficiency in Spanish. As far as I know, all the other countries of Latin America require a wait of at least 5 years, although the actual "time on the ground" varies.
As with everything else in life, there are tradeoffs; so it will depend on what your priorities are WRT speed, financial cost, time on the ground, and requirement to learn Spanish.

I do not think that the U.S (which allow dual citizenship) is going to tell the government of your country of origin that you've got U.S citizenship. If your country of origin allows multiple citizenships, then the problem does not even arise, but if it's otherwise, maybe you can be a D.C by just not letting them know. There are lots of individuals having D.C of countries that do not allow it.
