Visit to a French doll fair sale 24th annual at Soultz haut Rhin dolls and bears

All over the world there are some brilliant events to enjoy the love of dolls and toys. Recently I had the good luck to be nearby for the 24th Annual "Dalon de l'ours et de la poupee" in the French town of Soultz-haut-rhin. This is a large doll and bear fair drawing buyers and sellers from not only France but from many nearby European countries. It was lovely to be able to explore, chat with the sellers, and admire the variety of dolls popular in France, especially the vintage French dolls like Bleuette and those from the Bella company. As well as this there was a great variety of artist bears, vitnage Steiff toys, and a spattering of lovely modern collector dolls. I thought for sure there would be some vintage CAPRICE dolls, but I guess they are hard to find even in France. Thank You ! so much for taking us along on this fun day .
