Appreciate you watching. I actually map trails for the TrailsOffroad app/website. So if I am not mapping I download trails from the app to run. For navigation I use Gaia GPS maps on my phone and also use it on my iPad. iPad connected to a Garmin Inreach mini GPS. Crashed my drone into a tree in that video….
@@davidperlman5604 I can’t say it is safe or isn’t safe. What I can say is when I ran this trail, my Jeep was a stock Rubicon with 33” tires. I would rate this as moderate when I ran it a couple years ago. I would say at anytime you feel uncomfortable turn around and/or have another vehicle with you. Hope that helps.
@davidperlman5604 Running to the top of 4 peaks is a great scenic trail. Take a bout 2 hours to the top and usually a little less to come back down. Pretty easy trail. Hewitt Canyon FR172 is the west side of the Montana Mountain loop. It is very scenic and an easy going trail. Once you get to FR172A it begins to get more aggressive so may want to turn around there. I would suggest an offroad trail app as well. I found TrailsOffroad very useful when looking for trails (disclaimer I do write for them as independent contractor). Hope that helps. Always a good idea to have a second vehicle when possible. I don’t always go by that rule but on harder trails I try to have another with me. Hope that helps.

HaHa yeah it will. It was pretty cool but I think I say that about all of them.

When climbing, long, steep hills, like that, you should use for low, you’ll save your transmission
