The problem is that even with the help of tech we can't have any consistency in football refereeing. It's becoming a travesty. Blokes from a local pub could agree on the rules better and be more consistent then whole UEFA and FIFA together.

fullkrug was offside I think (it was not proven) but he did control the ball with his arm in the same play and that is why the VAR did not intervene, because it was not a penalty, and the VAR can only intervene if it is a clear penalty, but Since he saw the hand just before, he couldn't intervene.

It was no handball. The referee decided to not give a penalty because the shoulder of the player was downwards and his face was on the other side. That made the referee decide that the incident was not a handball offence. He was just accurately following the official FIFA rules, so stop crying.

It was no handball. The referee decided to not give a penalty because the shoulder of the player was downwards and his face was on the other side. That made the referee decide that the incident was not a handball offence. He was just accurately following the official FIFA rules, so stop crying.
