- ‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield criticised Prince Harry over his comments on Elvis Presley's iconic Graceland Mansion.
The Duke of Sussex in his memoir Spare described his visit to Rock n' Roll legend's Graceland estate.
Ms Schofield told Sky News host Rita Panahi that Prince Harry was “not impressed” by the estate.
“He said he could not believe how dungeony and gross,” Ms Schofield said.
“He made fun of the carpets, and he was like I can’t believe that Americans think ‘the king lived here’.
“Like Graceland was beneath him.
“It’s like Harry what have you done, that was Elvis’s shrine he built that from hard work.”

My mum, then in her 60’s, travelled to the States for the first time (from the UK) specifically to visit Graceland. She even named my brother Aaron after Elvis. She’s now in her 80’s. So much love and admiration for the King of Rock’n’Roll still felt to this day.
Elvis was afraid of being forgotten. As an American, I was very pleased to meet many lovely visitors from other countries at Graceland. Elvis would have been thrilled and deeply touched that he had so many fans across the world who wanted to visit his home.

In British and Ive been to Gracelands. Mighty impressive, it was too. In fact, we stayed three nights in the Heartbreak Hotel ( probably knocked down now). It was awesome. I think I read or heard that the caretakers at Graceland had the manufactures that made the original carpet make more for replacement and have more in storage for future replacement when needed.

Owning a travel/tour business for over 28 years and bringing Brits to Graceland for 17 years of that time, the overwhelming average Brit's opinion of Graceland was amazement because they understood Elvis' contribution to music and his poor upbringing.
