I honestly hope AA goes for Trea Turner, he's just as good defensively and offensively much better. When i'm watching the Braves play and Swanson is up, i always get this feeling he's going to 9 times outa 10, strike out or ground out. I am getting where I do not like the playoff format. I seriously think all National League teams should play as in one set of standings in the regular season, and the same for all the teams in the American League. The top team from each league goes straight to the World Series. Either this, or go back to the format in 1993 with only a LCS and WS. This wild card format is unfair, and ever since it was initiated, we have seen some barely above average wild card teams get hot for the post season and win it all, such as the Florida Marlins, twice, despite never having ever won the division. Think about that for a minute. The Marlins have two world series championships, the same number as the Atlanta Braves, and they never once won their division. I think the Wild Card format probably brings some excitement to the post season in cities that otherwise wouldn't have a chance, but in a way, it seems a huge injustice to the division winners.
Will.P You do that and the Braves don't have the 21 World Series. The 2022 Phillies had 87 wins and got hot in the playoffs. The 2021 Braves had 88 wins and got hot in the playoffs and won it all. It's what makes baseball great. It's what makes playoffs exciting.

Well everybody's got to play Day games. However I think it's kind of unfair for the fans that have to work and can't get off work without running the risk of losing their jobs. But since Day games are a reality there's no excuse for not playing well in them. Seems like players should play better because visibility would be better. If you are playing two sluggishly in the daytime then maybe you're having too much fun at night.
Totally agree on the work aspect. Obviously, I can't speak to the visibility of players in mlb stadiums, but I personally always preferred playing at night. The sun was a detriment to my visibility more so than field lights.

The Braves are my squad but these guys are still incomplete offensively. I don’t care about the analytics, but the high HR/high K rate is stupid and will always either shutdown via slump or shutdown pitcher. Take the Astros, who can actually get on base and have the power, speed, and ability to grind out ABs. These Braves have the ability but it’s their approach that will always kill them. It doesn’t matter if you hit HRs if they’re solo and K’ing out at a high rate is a negative. I’d like to see them improve on that next season.

@Trey Cortez because I’m a Met fan. Why would I root for Braves they are our archrivals. Just as you shouldn’t root for the Mets. One thing that do not like about today’s game. Players fraternize with each other way too much! It bothered me that the Mets were pal’ing around with the Braves at first base. 1986 Mets would never be that way. Nor would the 2000 Mets pal around with “Larry and the Braves gang” of that time.

The Braves are my squad but these guys are still incomplete offensively. I don’t care about the analytics, but the high HR/high K rate is stupid and will always either shutdown via slump or shutdown pitcher. Take the Astros, who can actually get on base and have the power, speed, and ability to grind out ABs. These Braves have the ability but it’s their approach that will always kill them. It doesn’t matter if you hit HRs if they’re solo and K’ing out at a high rate is a negative. I’d like to see them improve on that next season.
