Jazakumullah Sheikh Asrar for this excellent explanation of ubudiyyah as a universal concept.

This wa a good talk - similar to the one he did in a mosque recently but I'm not sure if it answers the topic questions on the existence of the creator (more so addressing complaints towards the logistics towards it)

I'm sorry, but the problem of Divine Hiddenness is not "absurd". You're constructing a false-choice fallacy and straw-man fallacy that God can't simply show himself in this realm and therefore it's not possible.
Your response is, itself, absurd. Many doubters simply want some objective evidence of God. I don't know what that would be, but an omniscient being would know. It's a false choice fallacy to say God must either show his actual self, or not demonstrate his existence at all. Perhaps it would be that at least some prayers were answered in a way that's DISTINGUISHABLE from random events. Perhaps Quran being recited from the sky.
Instead, we see theists bending over backwards with deep philosophical arguments on metaphysical concepts of contingency and awkwardly special-pleading themselves away from established science - evolution. "So you're saying there's a chance" - approach to evolution "might" be debunked in the future because science continuously improves. No, there's overwhelming evidence that Adam Eve is highly implausible. And, even for the sake of argument, we grant that this evidence will be overturned in the future, we're faced with another challenge that God would purposely TRICK us to make it STRONGLY APPEAR that Adam is implausible. Therefore, either way, the facts are deeply problematic to Judeo-Christian theism.
