I know man. The first time i was listening to nocturnal i loved it and then this song came on and i was like wow this is one of the best songs i ever heard. Its still in my top 5
I think I’ve listened to Nocturnal in full no less than a thousand times. I’ve got the entire discography as my weightlifting playlist. I love you guys. TBDM forever. ( you fucking shred as well. Your style and passion is unparalleled. )
Thanks for playing the rhythm section after the lead. It's pretty inspiring to see/hear it played the way you augmented it. That lead and rhythm part is probably my absolute favourite moment in Black Dahlia Murder's catalog. I can't count how many times, I "rewound" that section or restarted that track over the years, 😁
I will never get over you guys closing with this at HOB in Chicago years back. I went alone. Wore my discontinued TBDM Dune shirt, and wept like a child.
Thank you for this. I was such a metal nerd I'd go around showing people this solo on my phone back in high school cause I thought it was so awesome. It took me forever to realize that I was just excited about what metal was teaching me about what music could be.
Ryan and Brandon together, with Brian also able to help writing is going to be INSANE. So incredibly happy to hear TBDM will continue. I think Trevor will be happy with what you guy will inevitably accomplish.
Man, John wrote some absolutely great solos. All of them off Nocturnal are so good and I love your interpretations of them as well. You do good justice to already legendary solos and I don't think any other band in deathmetal does solos like Black Dahlia. Can't wait to hear what's to come with you and Ryan
@ancientgalaxy7697 Yo, check out Ralph Santollas solos on the Deicide album "The stench of redemption". There's a video of just the solos on here (weak album otherwise tbh) He was actually in Death too. Brandon's style is really similar.
God damn thank you for hearing my request love you man this song always makes me cry I don't know why but man I can't say this enough to but thank you goat bless you and can't wait to see you guys here in FL. Send the band my love dude. Ty again.
Thanks for putting all these black dahlia solos out! It is cool to be able to see how you actually play everything from picking to vibrato. You should put out your versions of the older solos, they're so much better than the original while keeping the same melody.
This is your moment dudes ...3 awesome guitar players this is it, break the new album, noooooooo this is not the end!! You will return !!! You will reeeeetuuuurn!!
Well well well lol... Looks like YOU ARE covering all the basis.. remember me requesting this stuff a while back?! Fuckin killer harmonics thrown in there 🎉
how the fuck can he play the same notes as the original and sound so much better when I saw him live was like "is it even the same solo wtf" then he goes and does the fucking windmill during the fast part wtf I'm convinced he can make the legendary nick jonas solo appealing both musically and visually
You didn't have to stare into my soul like that, I already feel bad about my guitar skills
You and Ryan are gonna be a formidable duo, the likes of which haven’t been seen in far too long!!
They just need Kempainen to complete the unholy trinity, haha.
Since Brian Roberston and Scott Gorham from Thin Lizxy in the 70s!!
@@jamesbradford870 No.
@@kevinkeith3530 just jokin around, chill.
Fuckin unstoppable
I'm so, so grateful for the fact that TBDM is carrying on. You and Ryan playing guitar in the same band is going to be a treat.
My all time favorite TBDM song. I was absolutely blown away the first time I heard it on my first listen to Nocturnal. Great playing as always!
it's my favorite love song of all time lol
Same
ikr man, i wish i can hear them like the first time
I know man. The first time i was listening to nocturnal i loved it and then this song came on and i was like wow this is one of the best songs i ever heard. Its still in my top 5
AngelMaker does a cover and it's damn near as good as the original.
Lord Ellis once again blesses us with his flawless playing.
This should be the Lord Ellis channel!!
Brandon is an incredible guitarist 🤘
God damn you ain’t jokin!! So glad they’re gunna keep TBDM going. Brings tears to my eyes. 🤘
I think I’ve listened to Nocturnal in full no less than a thousand times. I’ve got the entire discography as my weightlifting playlist. I love you guys. TBDM forever. ( you fucking shred as well. Your style and passion is unparalleled. )
Every note has SO MUCH INTENSITY. Amazing.
Best guitar player to come out in the 21st century. Hands down.
Thanks for playing the rhythm section after the lead. It's pretty inspiring to see/hear it played the way you augmented it.

I'll never get bored of listening to Brandon playing guitar. Seriously incredible stuff every time.
He’s not the guitarists that we asked for… he’s the guitarists that we needed 🤘🏻
That vibrato always gets me. Love it.
I cant even fathom the number of times I have heard that solo over the years, and damn dude, you just laid it out the best its ever been played.

Your Sunless Empire will probably always be my favorite solo from you insane stuff 🔥🎸

Very expressive phrasing. Love it
So happy Ryan and yourself will be ripping it up together with Brian singing. Such an awesome plan I'm stoked to hear what's next!!! 🤘
Great playing as always. Shred on!
I am really proud of you guys for pushing forward god bless!
Man... I love the way you play that notes! Sick!
Love those Andy La Roche tremolo techniques. Awesome touch
Thank you for this. I was such a metal nerd I'd go around showing people this solo on my phone back in high school cause I thought it was so awesome. It took me forever to realize that I was just excited about what metal was teaching me about what music could be.
Hearing that riff after the solo gave me goosebumps.
Amazing! REally making it your own while staying true to the essence of what defines a Black Dahlia solo
Brandon Ellis, ladies and gentlemen. Amazing.
Love this song amazing solo section 🤘😎
Classic Solo! Amazing!!!
Amazing tone, strenght and melodies
I’m glad with the news man keeping it in the family 🤟 R.I.P Trevor. Live king and prosper to THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER
I’m so happy you guys are staying together. That must have been a difficult conversation, but I think you figured out the best case scenario.

Death and tbdm make the best solos in music

Impeccable! Tasty phrasing !
Digging your take on a classic solo from that album your whammy touches and picking conviction is perfect🦾
I wish this was how the solo sounded on the album 😅
you are gnarly af dude, elite shredder
i listened to this song at least 4 times today
Absolutely godlike solo, you are the fuckin man!
My favorite Black Dahlia song!
it was awsome seeing you on stage with exodus @ summerbreeze openair.

Insane....I'm off to the shed...
Ellis & Knight in one band?
I hate we can't have Trevor back, but that's a whole lot of talent in one place. (I think Brian will be awesome too)
This is my favorite black dahlia song. Thanks for the upload bro. I love the band and I hope you're all staying positive! Keep shredding, guitar god!
Spectacular!
I know you guys are gonna kill it! TBDM family.
dude you are so freaking good!!!!!!!!! So clean and perfect! 😱 You’re the best!
*Please, make a full cover! ❤🔥*
To Brandon, playing Deathmask Divine is the difficulty equivalent to me playing Smells like teen spirit.
Insane control!
Effortless..
You crush it dude. 🤜🤛
great solo!!!!
I hope we get to hear some dueling solo stuff. I'd lose my marbles
Your vibrato is insane 🔥🙌
You made a perfect solo, perfecter. How dare you.
Fun Fact: Deathmask Divine's Solo and Kings of the Nightworld's solo start with the two same notes.
On the summer slaughter tour they played the whole nocturnal album RIP Trevor
Asylum solo next would be awesome
Impressive !
very cool
Yo…at the 14 second mark, you stared right into the windows of my soul…
Good job dude. You're awesome.
Deathmask divine with BENDS!🤘

I still sing this solo out loud 😭
So you sing this crazy part at 0:17? I would like to hear how you do that xD
Nocturnal next !

Well well well lol... Looks like YOU ARE covering all the basis.. remember me requesting this stuff a while back?! Fuckin killer harmonics thrown in there 🎉
Holy fuck balls that was amazing 🔥
Your solo guitar in tbdm deathmask divine feel like Trevor spin running like child in early tbdm concert.. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Adding a little more flare to the solo sure helps. Good job
Como van a hacer vos y ryan para compartir solos? Son maradona y messi en la misma banda!!! Saludos desde mendoza, argentina!!!

I can already imagine this guy and ryan killing on stage , probably some of the best guitarists in modern metal
Broooo can we get some Sheet Happens books for the older records? I have verminous but would love nightbringers, everblack or nocturnal!
Nice cover bro!
Mr Brandon sir, it’s like Ingwie and Dimebag spent a crazy night together… and you were in the room next door practicing.
Fuuuck! Young Wylde with death metal. I love your playing dude!
