I mostly listened to this video as I was dealing with my toddler son. I really enjoyed listening to you. You are always well spoken (and not given to frequent potty-mouth moments; at least not on video🤣). I really appreciate the time you took to make this video.
My Vertec is on order (I have been waiting a month now. I'm in Ontario, Canada though.

Appreciate that! Definitely does make me happy to see these videos hold some value to people! Hopefully you enjoy the rrv when it does come around!

I hope they update the vertec and go back to a pulley instead of a bollard. If they do that, I'll upgrade my RRP. The beginning of the video was interesting. I had no idea the og rope wrench was just a pieve of wood lol.

Enjoyed the video. I have a Vertec and it is nice. It replaces my 2nd version of the RRP. Two things I like: The closed up bird....it was uncomfortable to operate with my smaller fingers. And no longer will twigs or my rope get in the bird. I also like the fact it's much easier to attach to your rope as no slic pins. Nice. It does seem smoother also.

I've had mine do what you mentioned in the clip. the biner getting stuck or pitched, think it depends on the the thickness of the biner, didn't do it that much on srt but did it while on drt, wasn't overly impressed with it on drt with a foot ascender. though i guess its mainly for srt. only used it once so more time on it. first time using rope runner, never had the old ones. I use the hitch hiker xf as my main climbing device before that was the rope wrench.

I had no idea you could go up that fast man! Smoking!!!!
I imagine you have to loosen up on the settings for Duel Rope, seemed a bit jerky coming down!

Drt is always more friction so you would lower your friction setting nearly as much as u can to make it run smooth in MRS. Now that you dont need a tool. This is easy to change back and forth.
