Ellie, having used steam cleaners for more than 25 yes 25 + years and all prices starting cheap and working up £300+ I can confidently say they are great for some not all cleaning. Yes for sanitising toilets, some floors, sink etc but don't use near electrical components digital displays on cookers that sort of thing. Some cheap ones will drip water so not good for soft furnishings or carpets. Try on an inconspicuous area first. Don't be tempted to put zoflora or bleach in steam is all that is needed pressurised ones will emit a dry steam which is ideal. Mmm, eucalyptus. I've bought some from our local florist and I've hung it in the shower where the showerhead sits, the steam activates the oils in it and the bathroom smells like a spa. I had to share as it's one of the best things I regularly buy 😁🖤
I got that steam cleaner yesterday and used it to clean the bathroom today. Only one use so far but it works great and I was surprised how much water was left in it after I had finished, so it would have kept going to a while longer.
