lol I always play the same way, I'm always merciful (though Meve can still come across as cruel a lot of the time regardless, or maybe I'm too soft) and I always leave the ruins even though I know what happens and I always lay Eldain to rest in a tomb when he dies (even if he doesn't deserve it)
It's commonly known that Eldain had a soft spot for music. In fact, prior to joining the Scoia'tael, he frequented human festivals as a lutist. On one occasion, Eldain's forces captured a minstrel who requested to sing rather than utter his final words, in the hopes that Eldain would be swayed to mercy. Indeed, with a grin across his face, Eldain enjoyed and applauded the bard's performance. He then ordered the man flayed alive. Eldain approves this music i guess.
They left some of the best music out of the official OST. This theme and Gascon's battle theme are some of the most memorable soundtracks yet they're missing...
They play only once during their battles in the entire games runtime and it’s an absolute crime. Especially since I hear the same 3 songs in EVERY fight
Iorveth: love him. Never lies to you. Total badass. Also you never see his atrocities first hand so its hard to hate him just through interacting with him. Eldain is just as brutal and yet irredeemably evil. Most because you witness his war crimes as opposed to from hearsay. But he and Iorveth are not so different.
Is this the soundtrack to a battle scene? I just listened to this music, and I seemed to feel a brigade sneaking quickly in the jungle. The animals in the jungle were avoiding it, but people outside the jungle could not detect anything.
Tbh separate leaders should get separate themes. Like, the Thronebreaker guys should get their themes, Detlaff should get Beast of Beauclair, Gaunter should get Master Mirror, etc.
@@spratous is right. Scoia'tael are not the paladins of justice, they mostly act like bandits and cuttroaths, but humans like Rayla are not better. They would gladly do to non-humans all the cruel things Scoiat'ael are used to do to humans, because they despise and fear them. In The Witcher world the concept of true evil does not exist. It is not a question of black and white. Humans did horrible things to elves and non-humans in the past. Scoia'tael do horrible things to humans in the present. No one is the real hero here.

Yes the two best tunes wee left out from the OST. So weird.
I finished half the game without realizing they're not in the OST and they're literally my 2 fav soundtracks.

Would LOVE an extended version! Some of the strings loops here are amazing.

Iorveth did the same shit Eldain did.
@Deborah Meltrozo fuck Humans
I AM ANGRY!!! ANGRY ABOUT ELVES!!

Danickas0 You could argue that Iorveth and the rest of the squirrels started the terrorist attacks first but that doesn’t justify anything.

Amazing. Thanks for providing this.
I love this!!!
more intense haha, cool thanks so much man
The devs had some balls to create a song THIS good and only use it for one fight in the game.

Can this theme get in Gwent? We need more badass themes like this.

I greatly dislike almost all Scoia Tael, that includes Eldain, but they do have good music
Seriously, fuck the scoia'tael. I don't understand how any one can empathise with such bloodthirsty monsters.
