A Small Town Hero (1922)

Hilliard Karr makes a play for the hand of Lillian Biron in this early Universal release. The chimpanzee Little Napoleon ('Nap', for short) comes-to-the-rescue a number of times.
Released only a few years into the Prohibition, this film features what appears to be an upstairs speakeasy.

What a strange movie! They literally threw every comedy cliche they could think of into it. Also, did anyone notice you could see the bride and the matrons breath when they were in the room before the wedding? A cold day indeed! Thank you for posting this very VERY odd film.
