I was wondering for years why del piero, my favorite player btw, was spoken as a great personality and a definition of a leader by many and i found why when i read the pirlo autobiography where pirlo said that for del piero you are either a man or an actor. That sums up the foundamental aspect of being juventus. You are present in the game, from start to finish, however you play. If you tell me what we see is juventus then you are only watching the budge.

Part of the problem is Atalanta, Lazio, and Fiorentina not dropping as many points this season. Sometimes the younger teams will bring in a 40 year old striker to help with leadership and to be clutch. Maybe there’s someone retired we could bring in for 6 months, I’m thinking like an Ibra or Cavani

Giuntoli provided the coach with so many options that its ridiculous to say that poor motta cannot field a team with a clear path of playing. You can see motta fielding the same 11 and one time we play attacking, failing to kill games while crumbling defensively and the other time play defensively, failing to keep strong at the back and failing offensively. Players hide behind the biggest excuse and that excuse is the disillusioned idea of the play they are supposed to make.

There are so many options the current squad provides. If it was only a matter of quality then an average team could never play a good game or beat a bigger club. Thats why saying that we miss some players is always considered as an excuse. Maybe the x movements are not available but most of the times you can get an y pattern of movements but failed to do so.
