People who are prejudiced and mocking Sahil Adeem's idea on "sababa" should keep in mind that this is the Quran's idea, not Sahil Adeem's. In the Qur'an, Allah says to think and look up at the sky; no one has issued a fatwa stating that all research and interpretation of the Qur'an have already been completed, so you are not allowed to do that. If you are not thinking about it, if you don't know astrophysics and you believe that all the research and interpretation of the Qur'an has already been completed and we are not allowed to research and interpret. Allah does not limit you. You are not confined by Nabi ﷺ, Shahabaؓ and no Mufti, Aalim forbade you from conducting research, so why are you restricting yourself? Knowledge seekers don't behave in this manner. May allah guide us to the right path.

Yes if they stop being arrogant then they know that both are right. People who are prejudiced and mocking Sahil Adeem's idea on "sababa" should keep in mind that this is the Quran's idea, not Sahil Adeem's. In the Qur'an, Allah says to think and look up at the sky; no one has issued a fatwa stating that all research and interpretation of the Qur'an have already been completed, so you are not allowed to do that. If you are not thinking about it, if you don't know astrophysics and you believe that all the research and interpretation of the Qur'an has already been completed and we are not allowed to research and interpret. Allah does not limit you. You are not confined by Nabi ﷺ, Shahabaؓ and no Mufti, Aalim forbade you from conducting research, so why are you restricting yourself? Knowledge seekers don't behave in this manner.

Everyone arguing why the questioner was disrespected despite years of research should remember the questioner came with the intention to debate and with the position that his view is as respectable as a person of knowledge. I think the Mufti has had enough of these self proclaimed scholars sprouting up with ridiculous theories and demanding their view and the associated criteria be respected. Perhaps you should focus on the subject matter more than whose emotions were hurt. Islam did not come to sort out your emotions but to guide you on the truth. The Quran isn’t a democracy. Accept it or become a scholar and make your contribution. Until then learn a thing or two from a learned person instead of establishing your unearned authority over the subject matter to prove your claim. And the guy who says communication skills naheen hain ulema ke pas toh bhai aap social sciences ki class naheen le rahe. Aap ke deen or dunya ki bunyad hae yeh. Itna compromise to insan apni gari par naheen karta. Gari par koi nishan mar jae to cheekhein nikal jati hain aap ki! Ajeeb log!
