We all have our own stories for this song. This is actually my comfort song. It helps me cope with my life problems. I see the “eyelids” line as people watching me as if I’m always being judged (because of my anxiety) and the “hey kids” line as a reminder on how life used to be when I was a kid. “Light and a feather.” Is representing how light stress used to be and how heavy it has gotten. And the “ah” is a breath of relaxation when I die.
