Teaching our children how to have relationships with family and others is so important.

Reaching out is so important even if you can't be there in the moment. I think if you do acknowledge you heard them with a card or call. I agree with Pastor Jentezen.

Everyone at 7 Hills...all the staff is SO good at reaching out to others in our congregation. I've been there 14 years and serve multiple times a week and every time someone in staff reaches out with a call, text or note it hits my heart big. Pastor Marcus, you have cultivated that in everyone at the church...you and Pastor Sarah have demonstrated how much you love all of us and so the other staff follow your lead. We have the best support through all leadership and we are so lucky as a congregation to have all of you. I love this episode...so real. Thank you all!!

This is soooo good. So transparent. Some situations cannot be sugar coated, others can be given more grace. I left a church after 10 years because I was not use to such a strong political force.. It literally scared me...But I never left them as a whole,, just the building and teaching.. This is really good mental better health for all of us...❤❤❤

Amen , I was that mom very careful when my daughters were young. I monitored EVERYTHING. Tv time was limited, phones were a privilege but at 14 and they were to be turned in 1hour after school no exceptions. I set security codes with understanding that if they changed them they would lose their phones no way around it. Phones were used in the living room. And I agree I never turned them loose into the scary world of the internet because I made a promise to God that I would protect if god would allow me to be their mother . I agree 1000% with this .

Dr Michele addressed youth club sports. There are minstry opportunities in club sports. LIFT Athletics has designed a ministry supplement church during the season. The team is the youth ministry . Not an advertisement but there are opportunities for kids to compete at a high level and get ministered to while playing a sport.
