Hey Paul just a note to let you know I need your prayers I fell and broke 4 ribs and was diagnosed with covid 19 the new one stayed in the hospital 7 days and went to rehab for my fall ,the most pain I've ever had to deal with.please prayers for me and my family, daughter and 2 dranddaughters have the covid variant 19

When I was in the 5th grade we got on a train in Belmont Ms and went to Chicago, changed to a smaller train and rode to Waukegan to see my brother and his family. First time I was ever in a large city and I can remember thinking how dirty the city was. That small train showed me a lot of first that day. 😆 I was just a little small town girl! 💕

I live in north east England and I really wish that the scrappers here were like those if you in America. I put scrap out today and because he had to walk to my back gate (he couldn’t be bothered to drive close enough) he left half of it behind. The last time I put scrap metal out it didn’t even get touched which is a shame as there was about 5lb of brass in a small metal bin I had put out, I ended up putting it in the garbage bin, I’m not even sure where our garbage goes, landfill or to get burned.
Anyway I love your channel and have been binge watching you for about 4 days lol.
Wow, I live in the south east part of England and our scrap always gets taken. Usually it’s by the Gypsies/ travellers. They come up our street every week in their truck ringing a bell to let us know they are there, so we can stop them to carry stuff. I usually only have to leave it in my front garden and they will knock to see if it’s ok to take.

Scrapping right now is so good, I think around where I am it was 7 cents pound now is up to 9 cents. Took a few loads the past few days and one day was 87 then 71 so yes nice to scrap right now.

It's always good to meet nice people along the way. Few and far between.
Just a thought- Chevy and GM trucks are very tough on door hinges- I drove an S-10 for car parts delivery and the constant use of the drivers door tore up the hinges to the point where they were actually ripping themselves off of the body. Very pricey fix. I know you don't want that to happen to Clifford. Lube the hinges with a specific hinge lube with graphite. WD40 only dries out the bushings and causes early failure. WD40 will only stop any squeaks. Remember, I love Clfford and want him to be around a long time. Beautiful truck. God is good, and we praise him for every single day we are on this beautiful planet. I save all the microwave plates you can glue little rubber feet if needed. They are great for saucers for large plants. Also buffet trays. All the home made cookies and decorations.

I like to go out at night to my scrap from 10 pm to 2 am. It's good for me in the kansas city kansas
12:05 I have not seen one of those in years. Funny story. Dad had the tv antenna for our mobile home stabilized by having it lashed to the tree. Tree got struck by lightning going through the antenna and after that happened we got all the pay for cable channels coming for free back in the mid to late 80"s. We moved and years later my first wife lived in the exact trailer lot we had lived in. Not trailer. That had been sold. But trailer spot was the exact same one. We had moved into a house.
When you went to cash out I kept reminding you about the pallet but you didn't listen,,,,,,lol!
Wish my scrap yard paid like yours does. I think they are ripping me off. Got my truck fixed today and back on the road. On the way home from picking up the truck I drove by a house clean out, lots of appliances. After loading that up I was just going to go to the yard with what I had and on the way passed another clean out. Lots of goodies. Full truck but only got fifty bucks. Might have to start looking for another yard.

I was curious what was tucked into/under the cover on the ironing board. Was hoping you would pull it out. Common sense tells me it was the iron, but what if it was a vintage sprinkler you use to dampen the clothes while ironing? Now we'll never know!
