Nice power delivery management by Samsung's official 25 watt brick charger. It managed to deliver right amount of power for speed and heat balance. I, myself, prefer this method rather than a crazy fast charging phones. Previously been using realme x2 pro with 50 watt charger that can charge 0 to 100% in around 30 mins, it's just too fast for me
This is the reason why I love 18w qc 3.0 than any 43w/67w/120w fast charging. Those big watts can heat up a phone. Unlike those 30w/25w/22.5w/18w/15w which is not.
I thought you were joking at first. But you're serious. OnePlus has been doing this for years and doesn't have battery issues. Given Samsung's history with batteries I am not surprised they are so afraid of fast charging
No need for those 30 minutes full charge phones. Their batteries endure swarms of overheating thus suffering damage overtime. The slower the charge the better for the long run
I had an S22 and once decided to compare it with my old iPhone 12. Samsung S22 charged from 0% to 100% in 1 hour 27 minutes it was fully charged and the iPhone 12 went from 0% to 100% in 2 hours 38 minutes although Samsung S22 batterys lasts 7 hours while iPhone 12 lasts 9 hours. The reason is the s23 is programmed to stay cool so it doesn't over heat that's why it doesn't charge too fast even though it has the smalle e battery, with the budget phone a54 the heating doesn't matter so it doesn't have to cut power to stay cool
Do not fall for these comparisons. I am using the A54 since three months now, at least. I can easily tell its serious battery health issue, which deteriorates so fast.
