He's pushes the players to be their best and has set a high standard. Add that to his communication and people skills and we have a winning combination.

I think Rhule is great for us. The Chasing 3 youtube series gives you a great inside look at the program, an unprecedented look really. It's very early in the season and frankly the hype worries me. I think it worries most Husker fans. We've been leet down too many times. I see a lot of national media hyping us up but locally we are all cautiously optimistic. Definitely not expecting to make the playoffs but happy to still be in the drivers seat 2 weeks in which hadn't been the case for several years.

Let’s remember, Nebraska doesn’t belong in the big 10. It killed all of those Big 8 rivalries. The energy we saw on Saturday was like time traveling. Nebraska was America’s team that night. The whole nation wanted to see that beat down.

Coach Rhule took the Temple Owls in 2015 and 2016 to 7-1 records in the ACC, and over 10 wins both seasons. They had many tough teams those years. How many coaches can do that? I deem the man a legend, period, it's not debatable as I see it. Temple is not a football power by any means.

I think it was blatantly obvious from pretty much the beginning that his approach was not going to work. Why did so many think it would? Or are they just mesmerized by or scared of Prime for some reason?

No one is comparing this team to Georgia. We are just happy that they won their first 2 games. That hasn't happened in a while. When Georgia wasn't winning, they weren't selling out every game. We are different.
So very true. 4-5 years ago Frost was stating we were one player away. Anidst the horrid OL, I was stating we weren't even one OL away. Our program has another 2-3 years of development of the OL and DL to get that 3-4-5 deep position rotation that even when an elite OL moves on it's truly "next man up". That mantra is not the current team. It is trending up, but has not arrived.
I suppose. I don’t see Georgia on the schedule this year though. I do see OSU and USC and both are road games and both we won’t be favored to win. The rest of the schedule is manageable. 9-3 / 8-4 is very possible, even likely. 10-2 or even 11-1 isn’t completely ridiculous. GBR
As a Huskers fan, I think Rhule isndoing a good job so far. I also think he won't finish his contract at Nebraska because he doesn't stay anywhere long.
The difference is Nebraska is a Blue Blood program, if he’s successful, which I think he will be, he’ll be here for the long term. Great coaches don’t stay at mid-level programs, those stops at Temple &. Baylor are resume builders for bigger jobs.

He is the perfect head coach for the husker's he rebuilts programs and it proven he will take Nebraska to great things for sure big wins coming

Coach Ruhle has stated this is his last coaching job and I’ll take him at his word.
He sees that golden goose here. If he can get to and maintain playoff contender teams, win some big10 championships, a NC or 3. He has a lifetime job.
