I also had a girl Yellow Labrador Retriever for almost 12 years. I adopted her, and she lived just a bit over 14 years. What a joy and privilege to have these wonderful dogs in your life! She went to the Rainbow Bridge this August 13. I miss my Beautiful Sandy.
This dog could be my dogs twin, however, my dogs liver, pancreas and kidneys failed when he was only 7 years old. The saddest time of our life. By watching Stella I’m able to recapture what was taken from us … JOY.
@I have a fun game for you. Me and my two labs play this whenever the weather is bad and I dont feel like taking them outside. I will take them both up to my office and have them sit. They love this game so their tails are wagging furiously. I will go downstairs and grab about 20 pieces of bacon and then hide them all over the house. When I get back into the office. I will open the door, make them wait a minute then yell go get em! First dog to the bacon gets to eat it.they will bolt around the house looking for bacon and then after 15 minutes they will wander back to the office, sit down and wait patiently for the game to start over again.
