Thanks for the update on the new control box, I've been wondering how that would fit on to some of the body sections, definitely some pros and cons to both versions. The new one seems a lot easier to swap on though! Alright I've got to at least ask, is there any chance you'd be willing to make a video on the crystal chamber part? I saw that "hidden away" on the site the other the otner day and Im very curious about it. It seems like it would be pretty cool to add to a saber! Thanks for the great video by the way 👍
@@viresabers5883 Oh, one more question... What if you had a switch with holes (like the mentor switch), can you still use the V2 box? Will the screws work with those threaded holes? Thanks! :)
Heads-up for anyone wanting to get the V2 control box collar/ring style. If you want yo pair it with the Mentor Switch, you will need the long screws to reach all the way. 👍
I used hot glue on my V1s and you can get them out by pushing them out hard enough, as long you don't over do it with the glue. Though with V2 you can just unscrew it from the back and move it out the way.

@@viresabers5883 Alright, good to know! ;)
Great how to video as usual. Thank you for actually talking through it all. Everyone else just plays lame music and it doesn’t work for everybody.
Happy to help! 😄
I have the V1 Control Box for my Apprentice by Aegis Sabers. It works like a charm.

So how do you charge the saber once you cover it
Hey Tyler,
I assume you will need to slide the clamp card out of the way for charging. But if you hot glue it in, how do you slide it out?

You had something stuck in your beard. Maybe it was an Ewok who thought it was a forest?
