this is written so well its astounding it really makes so much sense when you watch the collection playlist and see that he's doing this in every 10 years as a throwback the conversation about your old self and all the "collection" stuff really ties this thing together perfectly hats of to you mr ockeroid
I love how in every Ockeroid animation, there's a very wholesome life message in there that I always wanna take with me though the rest of my life :) Thank you for making what you do!!
I remember watching the original, and then following you on youtube, and then discovering you were the same artist that made that flash animation I had watched 10 years ago. Man, crazy how kids today aren't living out ultra violent urges on Newgrounds and Stickdeath. There's nothing like 13 year olds making stick animations of POWs getting gunned down.
Somebody replied to my comment from _eight years ago_ where I said "stay tuned next decade for part 3!" that this came out Welp, I suppose now you can look forward to the next one in another decade
TLDR: I like saying my friends are wrong and think they deserve the chainsaw when they oppose me I really liked the talk at the beginning, feels like the talks I'd have with my friends when I try to flex some big moral upstanding when they make a passing remark Although it might be overkill to go into the full rant on them, when they make slight affirmations to me on how they think, and it doesn't really take into account the bigger complexities of it all irks me It bothers me when it feels like they didn't put a lot of thought behind what they say, yet say it in a way that makes less of it all Thankfully I learned to weed out the times when it's appropriate to do so, because it depends on the people and situation, and when I do that type of thing now we get to have a back and forth from that point, and that's the best way I've felt a connection to people is taking time to actualize my own thoughts into words to agree and expand upon the conversation, or rebuttal with my own points When people put their all on the line in conversations like this while still being able to concede on points helps temper their more shallow thinking on topics covered and works as an affirmation on the arguments that went relatively unchallenged
This is also a physical form of 90s babies and kids realizing how much time has went by. Didn't know ocerroikd has been doing flash style animations for a decade now. Fascinating.

This is nice. I like seeing things that remind me I am not alone in the way that I feel. With all of the surface level media flooding our society, Its a breath of fresh air to find things like this, little pieces of someone's head, a little window into who someone is. Thank you for making this, for putting the words I have not been able to express yet into a visual. You understand yourself, while helping others realize what they have been thinking for so long. Thank you Ockeroid, I hope I get to see more of who you are, and myself, through what you create.

You know something i just genuinely realized? This is genuinely an animation that delves into the truth of existence... We're all just another part of one big collection until we die and nothing can change the fate of the future nor rewrite the past... but you may always remain fearless and ready for the present... regardless of circumstance... all our fates are sealed in stone...
It's funny, that conversation about the people you used to be reminded me of a conversation I had not too long ago. It's my personal belief that (although controversial) we as growing people constantly commit a sort of suicide. We kill the person we just were in order to become a new hopefully improved version. The person we were, say 10, 20, years ago is completely different from the person we are today, we don't even have the same cells as they've all died and been replaced. We just kinda look similar and have similar memories. I don't really keep memories. I like to block them out. I think that living without any ties to your background (including memories) helps you shed that old skin easier and become someone new a little faster. So for people like me, there's really nothing other than the people around me that tie me to my former self. I didn't mean to type something so ranty. Just my weird personal beliefs and I thought it would be appropriate to share. Have a wonderful day to whoever reads this. Remember to hydrate, exercise often (to the best of your ability) and do your best to be kind to those around you please. Kindness is always returned two-fold. Have a wonderful day.
