Any of you guy's ever build models when you were kids? I did, and when I see this car it always reminds me of the 55chevy gasser called the badman. the yellow and black car. Wouldn't it be cool if someone would replicate that!

One good looking wicked five six! Gassers were what I would dream of when I was a kid in the 60's. I started chopping up a Franklin mint 56 Nomad a couple yrs. ago & put it on hold for real life for a while & I'm glad I saw this w/ the lower grill portion gone like 55 & 57's were a lot of the time. I didn't know if 56's unbolted there like thier two cousins front end's. Weather they do or don't, it (the whole car) looks as good as it sounds!

Steve's car has a Hilborn injector. This particular video is from the first season that Steve switched to the blown combination. I agree, Jay's car is equally badass! Thanks so much for tuning in!
The cabin fills up with so much positive air pressure that if the glass isn't installed with Urethane and just the Old style rubber gasket they do exactly what his did. The trick is to seal the cabins up better and more so when your nose high with the barn door open and gaps in the firewall everywhere .
I remember his window shattering all over the strip. He was a little upset, but he kept on racing!

This car is a regular on Thurs. night Test & Tune at Irwindale raceway in Calif. I try to attend as much as possible. They sell track shirts there with his car plastered all over it. $20 bucks
were did he get the blue windows?lookin for the same color for mine.i thought about spraying the plexiglass or lexan with a transparent blue. i'm doin a gold and black,55 chev,with blue windows

That surging idle is so annoying. I know of another shoebox chevy running a blower and it doesn't surge but runs nines.
