Journey over grueling mountains, hazardous swamps, and bone-dry deserts on a distant world far from civilization - it is just you, your fellow adventurers and the amazing, jet-powered hover-buggy you built yourself. Explore, crash your vehicle, build a better one, and get as far as you can with whatever spare parts you find along your way.
Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Walkers are one of the most difficult creations to make, and i appreciate the creators of those builds
Especially if they don’t just make a leg spin around in a circle and call it a walker

I would like to see upgrades to the trex in instruments of destruction. The directonal sucking things as repell could be used when it roars and when it chomps it sucks things
Spot was my favorite, definitely. So very very clever to have it automatically adjusting its balance like that.

fun fact: lambda is the Greek letter λ and the mechanism is named so because its shape resembles the letter
At 6:20 the walker when scrapman exists out of Jimmy it's funny that his head goes like : "bye this is my life now only a head" and then scrapman is like : "what happened to Jimmy's head?"

The machine by Stoker was an amazing piece of machinery
I've actually used a Spot before and I have to say, that recreation is pretty good.
I wanted you to review some unconventional helicopters, that being said you have already received one, the Samson, and its better version is now on the workshop, with (Revamped and Shiny) in its name.

i have a cool video idea: make a fast car that can do a looping but you have to extend that things that are like snowboards thingy,s (i dont know the name at the moment)ore something cuz they dont have friction and then slide trough the looping

I saw a robo dog at my state trap shooting tournament yesterday!
Funny thing is, a lot of people say that Boston Dynamics is a fake company using CGI to make their robots, and Bosstown Dynamics a meme version made by Corridor Studios as a joke to use CGI to make ATLAS the Boston Dynamics most advanced robot do some stuff that are not yet possible.
The Heinlein walker is based on the book Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein. One of the rare cases were the movie is better than the books (but there aren't any mechs in the movie unfortunately)
Interesting. My late mother had the book (but stowed it in a back bedroom and later gave it away.) I never read it and wondered if I should. Having seen the film and read your advice I won't b other.
@@zh84 it's a very stark difference. In his book Henlein was very pro military and touted some fascist beliefs (restricting the right to vote, etc) while the movie satirizes and mocks militarism and extreme right wing ideology.

Okay. It's tooting my own horn admittedly but I'd hope someone would be interested in the ensuing potential silliness all the same. If you search T-180 in the Steam workshop, you'll inevitably find a handful of cars I've made, one prototype, three models from the 2008 Speed Racer film, one custom machine I've recently released...and then one bare-bones chassis I also released just recently. If you give them a try, and if you like them, maybe take the blank chassis, some friends, and some time together to make your own T-180's? Then race them together on the race track circuit on race island. The one that's partially off and on road with ramps to vault over with the auto jacks.
...it's not the most impressive-looking machine but I liked nicoweb's walker the most just from how smooth it moves around.
