Omori is actually hard coded to not succumb at 1hp, not a lethal blow, so when perfect heart does the “let you live attack” on omori, it wastes omoris 1st life

Actually, anytime OMORI is not at full HP, he resists fatal hits, so merely healing him enough will make the next shot not kill him.
On another note, PERFECTHEART's equivalent to False Swipe ("PERFECTHEART lets live." does damage equal to current HP -1, with a minimum of 1 damage. If a character has at least 2 HP, then they'll be safe from that attack. If they only have 1 HP though...
Merg when you finish Omori I'll really recommend checking some fanmade mods. The community is really creative! There's stuff like the Omori Reverie mod, plenty of fanmade boss fights and even meme fangames like Doomori. It's really worth it.

There is also a blackspace mod that adds several hundreds of new rooms with some new music, I don't remember the name of that. Then there's melonspace, or headspace+, which makes the whole game not only more difficult, but more balanced too. And perfectheart is harder.

when i battled perfectheart i knew it was going to be hard, so i left it as my final challenge in my hikikomori playthrough. it's that one boss for which you save all of your good items, but then you finish the battle having used only half of them and then you look back not knowing what to do with the rest 💀

Perfectheart's "let you live" attack puts the target at 1 hp which also ignores stats completely. Omori did not succumb gets triggered when Omori reaches 1 hp, not when he reaches 0 hp, Omori just never reaches 0 hp. It's completely possible for Omori to not succumb in a regular fight if an attack puts him to 1 hp.
I’ll miss this series when it’s over, but it will forever stay in our memories :D

This is so sad, you did 11971 damage to perfect heart
Perfect heart has 12000 hp, if you had just gotten a tiny bit luckier with your dmg (dmg has a 10% difference on what it can be) perfect heart would have died and you would have skipped phase 2
According to Wiki, she has 10,000 HP. I think her 2nd phase is scripted to happen even if you bring her 1st phase self to 0 HP
@@mikaelious9550 I checked the code, it says she has 12000, also, I have personally skipped phase 2 myself using a strategy like this

@@Icedonot Huh, I didn't know that about the code. Also, does your strategy involve the Observe ability or Abbi's Eye? I know there's an exploit that uses that to skip the 2nd phase

Well, I guess we’re going to say goodbye to Omori soon. This series has been amazing and this long journey has been most enjoyable. It’s been nice but it’s time to say oyasumi.
Also, I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but apparently, using Omori’s skill Observe on Perfectheart removes her 2nd phase completely (most likely a glitch). Just saying in case you decide to attempt to destroy Perfectheart again (or maybe you won’t glitch the game).
That title giving me some radiance flashbacks... Hyped for another Omori video though! This series has been *absolute* ly amazing.

Hey Merg, an indie game called Will You Snail came out this year, and I'd be really happy if you played it! It basically is what would happen if Just Shapes and Beats and Geometry Dash had a child, and it was a platformer game. The game is extremely clever and there's an evil AI constantly making fun of you when you make mistakes. You should really check it out! I can assure you that you will like it :)

hi merg!! just wanted to remind you before you finish everything up that the keeper of the castle in sweetheart's basement is still waiting for omori!!!! i feel like this would be good for the final episode because it does end up getting rid of the entire castle area in exchange for a "familiar" room, so it is something you wanna do after finishing the entire castle!!! thanks for playing through everything in this game, ive been watching this series for so long and it's been one of my favorite playthroughs, im sad that it's finally ending but im glad we all got to enjoy this so much, thank you!! :DDD

One Coffee, and the Basketball outclasses the Chicken Ball, by being just as good as it in Speed (even if both have Coffee, I mean)
3 Speed boosts is 500%. No other stat boosts work this way, it's up to 300% or something
But yeah.

And the Speed Cap is 999.
Basketball already increases by 100.
With the right equipment and Ecstatic, you could have reached the speed cap with the Beach Ball at level 27.
Basketball is best for Run'N'Gun since Kel gets other stats too.

Perfectheart does 75%, an attack that is affected by emotion.

This game is really broken if you know how to exploit the combat
and yet im super glad, since Merg is one of the few RUclipsrs I know of who bothered to actually spend more time on this game even after finishing it
infact he's the only RUclipsr that I *know* of who got 100% (i think) completion
A secret you can do before the finale is: Return to your reality. Interact with the bed. Chosse "Go back to dreamworld". Go to the Mari and Basil picnic in the beggining. Close and open the menu with the "c" key really fast (15 times exactly) . When you are done with that you have to press interact button real quick.

It seems... that the Omori series is coming to a close soon. While I am sad to see this series end, it has been a fun, scary, heart-wrenching, and beautiful one so far. If I may make a recommendation, if you liked Omori, you might want to try out the game that inspired it- Yume Nikki. I won't say anything about it other then... it's worth a shot to play.

Perfectheart made me ragequit 2 times.
I died like 13 times and it took me 3 days to beat her, but eventually i did and got all achievements in the game later.
Truly one of the most difficult fights i ever done in an RPG!!

Perfectheart is very hard going in blind, but with held from omocord i was able to figurr her out and win fairly fast

The reason Flex is so essential to a good Kel Nuke is because it not only increases his Hit Rate, but also multiplies his damage 2.5x!
As for the Omori nuke, having Kel tickle her on the same turn helps a lot!

It’s sad to see this series so close to the end, I’ve been watching it since the very beginning and it always made me happy when I’d see a new episode.
If you are looking for other games similar to Omori, I’d really recommend Yume Nikki, it was the main inspiration for black space in Omori and is and excellent game that I’d love to see your reactions to. Also, not a lot of big creators have played it so I’d really recommend :D
It's a bit sad to see this series coming to a close, but also exciting for what comes next! There's still one big, big secret in OMORI that you can't really get in this route, but knowing you, maybe you have a save file from the Sunny route from the moment you first arrived in Black Space?
Regardless, can't wait for the finale Merg! I'm sure whatever is coming next is going to be great!

This series brought me so much happiness that honestly I’m not sure what I’m going to feel when the ending to this great series actually uploads.

congrats Merg for being one of the first few Let's Play RUclipsrs I know of who actually got 100% (i think) completion on the game
all the other RUclipsrs and streamers i watched just played one of the routes and nothing more, even fewer of them actually bothered with the sidequests in "realspace", so imagine my surprise when the first dude i know of to actually do the realspace sidequests is not the RPG guy but the bullethell cherry guy

this might be the second to last episode, it's sad to see that your OMORI series is ending, the beginning of your series made me play the game (and finish it about three episodes later), and it's become one of my absolute favorite games, but as far as replayability goes, there isn't much, you just need to still get the endings for the route and you should be done. this was an amazing game, and seeing you play it was fun
I actually saw someone one hit perfect heart before,but that is one using Aubrey Ultimate attack and being very lucky

Effects like speed buff, damage buff and defence buff (these doesn’t include sno-cone buff) have 3 tiers. Using coffee 3 times on Omori will give him the highest possible speed buff. In addition, you can use All friends’ ultimate attack to gain additional stat buff (including speed buff). Debuffs (like buffs) also have 3 tiers, and with that you can decrease PERFECTHEART’s defence by 3 tiers for even more damage. Don’t forget about Manic emotion effect too. All the same can be done with Kel (except you can only have ecstatic emotion for him)
Sno-cone also gives speed buff.

Cripple technique is good though.
(Not to mention crippling Perfectheart is deeply satisfying.)
