PLEASE, will u make a video for all of us, can not afford a hydraulic leg. One, for us beginners. Just, sit to stand over and over. PLEASE, I have to do a lot of my exercises, at home a lone.
@@MissionGait the patient have osteo Arthritis in left knee and she have right leg below knee amputation because of irrelgular blood circulation , . Now how could I teach the weight transfer while walking to the patient ?
Mechanical prosthetic knees are capable of a lot, but they do have their limitations. Hydraulic knees have additional features that can make it easier for you to get around.
I'm not sure how to start this or where to go just going to throw it out there and maybe somebody can give me some Direction I was in a car accident April 13th 2021 broke on my ribs pelvis collarbone shattered my left hip and fractured my right hip I was in a coma for 23 days in the hospital for about another half how come is my left leg does not Bend and I do have drop foot so it's very difficult and challenging everyday and getting out of a chair recliner chair is one of the typical ones as it's just low in my leg doesn't Bend I can't get it underneath me anything can help appreciate it
For the most part. The "nose over toes", keeping the weight on the toe of the prosthetic, and hand placements on the chair cues are the same. For someone with a below knee amputation, you are using your thigh muscle to control your knee to help in raising and lowering you whereas the person in this video has to push on the back wall of the socket because she does not have a knee to control the motion.
Thank you for the in depth details of your videos God bless the work your doing🙏
