      That´s what we fish for. If you don´t get that anymore, you better stop fishing.

      damn straight. I first got clued into GoPro picking up my heartbeat when I was editing footage with a headset on...I was catching my personal best (puny by comparison, just a 25lb striper, off the rocks in NJ) and the adrenaline and rush all came flooding back. Keep on making these amazing videos. Your stuff rocks.

    Hey Dennis, quick question about your footwear. What shoes do you wear on those wet rocks mate? I'm looking for something light but with some decent grip.

    • @DennisVerreet
      @DennisVerreet  7 лет назад +2

      I always buy cheap trekking shoes (30 $ or so) and throw them away after a 2 week trip when they stink like hell. You just have to make sure that they have a sole which is not too hard, otherwise they are super slippery on wet rocks. The softer, the more grip you normally have, but then they wear out a lot quicker, too.

    Congratulations Dennis, do you believe Saltiga expedition 8000, performs better than Saltiga dogfight? Tight lines!!!

    • @DennisVerreet
      @DennisVerreet  7 лет назад +1

      Na, both the same I would say, but I´ve only fished the Expedition for 2 weeks so far. Right now I would say that they are both the same, but I like the look of the Dogfight a bit better. And it´s a 8000H by the way, I only fish high speed reels.

      They are called Kingfish in New Zealand and Australia and you call them Amberjack in the US. That´s with heaps of fish that they have different names depending on where you are.

    • @DennisVerreet
      @DennisVerreet  7 лет назад

      Das ist die Telefonnummmer von Black Hole. Kann keine Rute sehen. Schick mir mal den link. Es gibt nicht wirklich eine Rute mit der du 180 gr Popper werfen kannst aber auch jigs bis nur 50 gr. Und eine 5000 Stella auf einer Popperrute mit der du 180 gr werfen kannst macht überhaupt keinen Sinn. Die Rolle ist viel zu klein und hat bei weitem nicht genug Bremse. Da solltest du dir schon 2 Ruten und die passenden Rollen zulegen, anderfalls hast du nur einen schlechten Kompromiss.
