I’ve grown up in inner city Brisbane and I now in my teenage years I feel like the city is growing with me. It’s incredible ❤️ Will always love this place
I know exactly what you mean by splurging on a fantastic dinner and champagne to celebrate the start of a new chapter. I did that with my wife when I left my old job, and we are so happy now and still remember the wonderful dinner we had together that night. Great video guys !
I lived in West End for 10 years and now in Sunnybank QLD. I have never heard of the helicopter ride but it’s what I am going to look up ASAP! Thank you for reminding me how beautiful my hometown is and all it has to offer. What a beautiful site and experience to be able to see Brisbane from up top. Fabulous 👌❤️
I miss Brisbane, was a backpacker in 2010/11 and left just before it flooded for Sydney. The city had a nice feel about it, the CBD was manageable by foot, yet big enough. Brissy was going through a construction boom when I visited, many skyscrapers and apartments being constructed. The urban sprawl is huge compared to European cities though. The state of Queensland is stunning with rainforest and mountains inland, amazing beaches and small towns North of Brissy, like Airlie, Hervey Bay and Noosa . Never visited the Gold Coast, by-passed it for Byron. I was travelling down the East coast where I eventually ended up in Melbourne for work, another nice yet big city, the climate was not sub tropical like Brissy.
When we began planning for our trip to Brisbane, it was this video that we first found and it was this video that sold me on the visit. It was also this video that introduced me to your channel and all the other great videos that we used to plan the other part of our trip. We didn’t get to do everything (which just means that we’ll have to go back soon!), but we went to Southbank, saw Streets Beach (closed for maintenance 😢), stayed in HSW right next to Felons Brewing, and enjoyed a day walking through the CBD and Botanical Gardens. Thank you, Phoebe. Because of you and your great videos, we had the best vacation of our lives! Keep doing what you do-not only are you living your best life, you’re also helping us do the same. Moving to brisbane 14 years ago, definitely seeing so many changes in that time. Spending time in most of the cities in Australia, definitely up there as 1 of the best cities in Australia

Oh, thank you so much!! We had the pleasure of visiting Sweden for the first time a few years ago (in summer) and absolutely loved it! @@travelforphoebe Yes, agreed, Sweden is quite the place in the summer. But that's just it. When summer occurs, it's beautiful. This summer though, +14C and rain, every other day. That was so enjoyable to watch. You chose the best place to stay, right there at South Bank. Its certainly worth swimming at the man made beach, with dressing rooms close by. Yes, so much to see. There are also free lunchtime concerts at the City Hall on Tuesdays at 12 noon. Its called the Lord Mayors Lunchtime concerts. Worth seeing who is playing … can be from jazz to classical and more.

Hi!! Thank you so much for the lovely message 😊 hopefully, it gave you a good dose of home to keep you going while you’re away!! Have the best time in Switzerland 😊 Phoebe x
That's a great video you guys! I have visited Brisbane a couple of times but only for work trip so haven't been able to explore it nicely. But this video inspires me to do so.
If you plan to come. Make Brisbane your central hub. Stay at least 4 days. Beautiful beaches south and north. Amazing rainforest 30 min drive from the city. Mt Glorious. To the East is stunning Moreton Bay. Full of dolphins turtles and Dugong. Brisbane is Australia's most under rated city. In Brisbane try Roma Street Gardens. Mt Cootha lookout and Botanical gardens. City botanical gardens. Cultural Centre has Museums galore. South bank Gardens. Try the suburban centres such as west end, Paddington, new farm and bulimba. Catch a city cat ferry and cruise the river. Eat at Eat Street. Try rock climbing at kangaroo point. Go to lone pine to hug a koala. Explore Toowong Cemetery. Do a ghost tour of Boggo Road Jail. Visit the Commissariat Store museum for a taste of early life. Go visit historic Newstead house. Try the Bulimba Creek walking tracks at Carindale. Vistit the many bushlands around the city including Boondall wetlands. You will be surprised how much there is to do in this city let alone the nightlife and all the normal things. Many tourists say they wish they had planned to stay longer. Brissy is the most Australian city in the country. Melbourne is European and Sydney is cosmopolitan. Brisbane is laid back and welcoming. People smile and are happy to chat with strangers. There is very little graffiti as the council clean it off. Brisbane is very clean and modern yet still has Australis most grandest old buildings. Brisbane is more and more embracing it's subtropical climate. Many lovely flowering trees and plants. The river is brown. It's a tidal river so it will never be blue or clear. It is home to 2000 bull sharks. That's why no one swims in it. There are many Eddy's and rips under the surface you can't see. Sunrise and sunsets are stunning. Blue Sky's are common with big puffy white clouds. It's perfect weather in winter June to August. The best time of year is September. Stunning days. Summer can be stiffly hot and humid with spectacular thunderstorms most afternoons. Most of all the same comment most tourists say is they can't believe how green Brisbane is. Some have said it's a city of forests. It was voted one of the most beautiful cities of the world for it's mix of grand sandstone buildings mixed with gleaming glass skyscrapers and it's gardens and flamboyant color. Enjoy
If God says' i have planned to join Brisbane's life soon moving out from Ethiopia to AU, Brisbane and am so exited to live and explore new things there. Just wish me Luck❤❤🙏❤
Greetings from the American Land of Oz, the State of Kansas! I really want to come and visit Australia but funds and COVID... Cheers and take care of yourselves!

Great video as always. I envy you for living in such a beautiful city (and country)! One small gripe - I wish there was better equalisation (?) between the music volume, and the parts where you speak.

Do you plan on doing Travel Guides for other Australia Cities Phoebe?
We would love to! Nothing in the pipeline just yet but hopefully we get to visit some more Aussie destinations this year! 😍 P x
It was a really nice video tour,, like ur videos, u just made me in love with brisbane 😄
That makes me so happy! Thank you :)
Great video and beautiful city
Thank you so much for watching!! Have a great day - Phoebe x
Enjoy
Wooooowwwww thank you so much for taking the time to share all that great info!! I'm sure it'll come in really useful to people planning to visit.
Thank you for the great tour. I loved my last visit to Brisbane and hope to return soon.

Which month was this video taken ?
Awesome video. Love Brisbane. I prefer it over Sydney any day :)
Haha me too! I lived in Sydney for a while and it just... I dunno... I was sad living there! Queensland has a much different feel 😊❤️
Little Grey Box absolutely. Like when I visit Sydney every couple of years, everyone seems stressed out and not very social. By the time I arrive back in Brisbane airport and to the air train, everyone just seems more laidback and friendlier.
Brisbane 😢❤️❤️
Thanks for watching!!
Great video as always. I envy you for living in such a beautiful city (and country)!
One small gripe - I wish there was better equalisation (?) between the music volume, and the parts where you speak.
Thank you so much!! We really are so lucky 😍 it’s always good to hear what people like or don’t like 😊 we do our best but can’t make it perfect for everyone - one person’s loud is another’s soft 😂🙌🏻 thank you again! Have a great day!

Haha that’s a great question!! And thank you so much for the love and support 😊 I would say the Swedish Archipelago, Australian coast/bush land and the Canadian Rockies were three places we found to be great for us as introverts. Lots of nature, space and great views!

I guess Brisbane is the most liveable city in Australia and i love it! I’m going to move there after the virus ends but i’m not sure if i could get a job easily. You haven’t mentioned about that. How are the job opportunities there?
Thank you so much for watching! This video is aimed at travellers rather than providing info on relocation :) I haven't had to do any job hunting for quite a while so couldn't provide accurate insight. I'm sure there are better sources for that type of info. Hope you have a great end to the year and thanks again for watching.
I live in Petrie Terrace great video guys done a wonderful job yes Brisbane is the best city in Australia and growing I’ve lived in all cities except Darwin and there’s no place I’d rather be and I was born on the Gold Coast ! still prefer Brissy
