- Watch frisky males, boasting, boxing, hopping, scratching while Mum's feed - Joey, baby, are in their white pouches hanging between their back legs.
They keep a close eye on me filming, ever watchful as they are cute but wild animals! Set to delightful 'relax' music. Footage taken at the Bundjalung National Park picnic area.

Aren’t they just so wonderful to watch. We used to have them visit every day in our back paddock when we were in Hurstbridge. Love the narration too Kate. Great combination of imagery and life lessons. 👏💚

This was so much fun..such exotic creatures for me, being like your next-door neighbors. I absolutely do not mind the length of your video, Kate..I could watch them for hours!! Thinks for filming this!
thanks so much Karima ... It was an hour's drive down then an hour back so not quite on my doorstep. They were certainly all around my childhood home but suburbia meant they had to move on ...
@@calmkate8 An hour is not too far but yes, I imagine suburbs encroached on their homelands. You were lucky to grow up with them:)
@@KarimaHoisan when they're there every day you do take them for granted ... now it takes more effort I appreciate them much more
Thank you Kate. It's an awesome gift to receive in viewing these kangaroos. While they resemble the deer found in America, their transportation system is built quite differently (with a uniqueness all their own).
