The last story: it’s a very common practice nowadays. Guys do that, girls do that, etc. So really we just need to either accept that that’s a thing that happens or shame it into non-existence
8:03 if OP genuinely didn’t know they’re not the jerk. The bf should have ordered it himself, mentioned that allergy or at least check before eating it. And ghosting like that is absolutely toxic. He’s playing with OP’s emotions by making them worry. For all OP knows he could be in the ER or having a medical emergency somewhere! The bf is absolutely the jerk.
Story 1: Linda needs a class action lawsuit from everyone she reported to the city. She also needs a restraining order. She clearly has nothing better to do. Story 2: Okay, sooooo not the jerk. That nephew is an entitled, ill mannered jerk. Story 3: What’s his problem!? If you have allergies, then you need to take responsibility for your food orders, and mind what you eat. He never told OP about his own allergies. Plus, it wasn’t a lethal allergy. OP needs to dump the chump. Story 4: Not the jerk. OP has the right to say what can and can’t be planted on his own land parcel. Nine of the ten trees are on OP’s property. This is total encroachment. OP could and should sue that neighbor and end up taking his land/home. Don’t contribute to the payment of moving the trees. Story 5: As I constantly hear in showbiz, “You should have got it in writing!” OP is not the jerk. Luke needs to find somewhere else to live if he doesn’t want to buy the house. OP should have a hard set rental price and move out date for Luke and Emma. Story 6: Not the jerk. Ethan wouldn’t help OP if the situation were reversed. Ethan neglected the car just as he did his finances, my friend has an older sister like that. Every car my friend’s sister has owned she has neglected or totaled, and she also spends more than she earns. Story 7: OP should have sent a confirmation text or email of the breakup, though truly he didn’t “cheat”, she ghosted him like a coward and behaved like a child. He needs to consider a restraining order of the ex if she won’t back off. Consider a lawsuit for libel as well if she publicly posts online or tells people via text or email that OP “cheated”.

Story 2- No one owes anyone a Thanksgiving Dinner! This couple had been through way too much to host anyone , especially ungrateful relatives! Next time, say yes, what are You fixing and what time do you want us there? That will end it right there!
Story 7 why don't the parents let Ethan borrow their car? Oh that's right it's because they know he's a horrible driver so want to guilt op into itso they can keep theirs intact. He probably can't a get rental because they most likely won't give him one. But taxis Uber and Lyft literally exist so there's no reason for to drive there. He wants a car to drive without having to pay.
In the last story, why is the OP automatically at fault for moving on after ghosting his ex-girlfriend instead of calling or texting her to let her know it’s over these for dating someone else but yet his ex didn’t bother texting or calling him in return during that long period of not speaking. I agree that he should have called or texted her to tell her or even ask her if they are through but she could have also called or texted him in that span of not speaking to also confirm rather or not they are over. So in my opinion, it is both of their faults and should not be solely put on the OP.

I wonder if the OP realizes that cutting down trees drops your property value. That's just ONE reason not to cut them down.

They record and schedule these posts in advance. That’s why they always drop at 12:15 on the dot.
That depends on where you live, but yeah.

How does someone who is allergic to sesame seeds not visually notice the sesame seed on a bun? They're usually very very VERY obvious.
