Really, I don't have deep-seeded past, but I can only imagine what these words do to someone who does!!! Jesus! God is setting you free in these words!!!

I've never done an illegal drug, but God brought a heroin addict into my life, who I tried helping immensely(you couldn't imagine what I went through with him). He's in jail again now, but he knows his Scripture, I've taken him to church before, and he proclaims Jesus as his 'higher power' in 12-steps that he was required to attend....I still pray for him.....as a result of meeting him, I attended HA meetings on my own to be a support to other addicts. I have a ministerial background and did an internship with Teen Challenge many years ago. My burden is for drug addicts. Over the past 18 months, I've seen that 12-steps don't work, secular treatment centers and secular sober homes don't work. Jesus is the only one who can break through the power of addiction and bondage because His power is supreme. I watch this video, listening to this song, thinking about Michael and the other addicts I've encountered and envision them surrendering their lives totally to God, doing things His way, and leaving their pasts behind.

Every stinking time I hear the those words "tired of running running" or "open your arms he will hold u now" I just feel this over whelming joy and realization. And I'm like I AM TIRED OF RUNNING! I'm so ready for him to hold me in his arms and to dance with him in Heaven!
What I have learned personally is that HE wants us where we're at, not as we ought to be. Be real with HIM and yourself, (don't tell Him what he wants to hear) that way, through relationship,with Him, He can set you free.

I was broken sad lost and this song was being played by the copper pointe band and I just cried my eyes out I felt it was a song a message to open my eyes and show me what I really needed! I woke up singing this song, it has ministered to me as I’m sitting at work crying in front of my desk. Singing to you is my passion Jesus.
This song helped me through a time of loss.... "He is still with us"
I had to give the Eulogy at my Grandparents memorial service and the words weren't coming to me as I was writing. Late the night before I still hadn't put my thoughts to paper in a way that I felt were given by God. I listened to this album over and over that night as I wrote, prayed, cried a little...wrote more...I know this isn't the subject of the song, but the lyrics put me in a place comfort. The Holy Spirit stirred in me and the words came to me. There were truly God inspired. Everything fell into place. I felt I truly honored their memory during the service. "Here I lay by burdens down...lose my worries in Your Love". I certrainly did.
