- Today we are checking out the brand new Adidas Ultra 4D while also comparing it to the OG Ultra BOOST 1.0 that started it all.
The Adidas Ultra 4D Review goes over the primeknit upper, and 4D midsole, with a quick look at sizing and fit. This is a black and purple based colourway which is a nod to the first ever colorway of the Ultra Boost.
A couple of years ago, the Ultra 4D would have been massive hype, but the release is much appreciated and long overdue for a lot of Adidas fans like myself!

Also known as the "Ultra Boost 4D" (incorrectly), the new Ultra 4D is a pretty sweet new shoe but it costs a lot more than the ultra boost tho. Not entirely sure it's worth the price tag but check out the review and let me know what you think about them!

Great review. The look is a great throwback to the og, with a modern twist. I don't understand the exclusion of the continental outsole, as the alpha edge 4d had them. Great informative review, combining the aesthetic aspect as well as the technical side.
Thanks Lee! Agreed, the lack of continental rubber is strange. My alphaedge has it with prominent branding, so I wonder why they didn't use it for the ultra 4D.
They do feel a lot heavier and need some break in time for the 4D to become more comfortable, but i love them!
Yup totally, gotta keep wearing them out for the next couple days/weeks to try and break them in haha
I was supposed to add a OG Ultraboost and a 4D shoe to my collection, and this is my chance to do both with one shoe. Love my S&L but this shoe looks crazy good.

The adidas website states that the outsole is still made of continental rubber. Wish they would’ve stuck with the original traction pattern tho
I just got mine brandnew deadstock at just about $180 from a reseller's store (they're just sitting there). I couldnt be more happier for the amount i paid. They look dope even they're almost 2 years old now since the release. Awesome review by the way! 👌🏻

Nice review. They do have a Continental outsole. There’s just no branding on it. It’s on the adidas website under the specifications.

They do use Continental rubber on the outsole. I wasn't sure either because there's no stamp on the outsole itself.

Thanks for the review, especially the sizing comparison as it's most useful. These aren't getting as much hype as I think it would, many are still sitting on ebay and not selling at the asking price. I didn't win the draw hence I had to order one from an ebay seller but luckily close to RRP. Shame that adidas decided not to have a wider general release instead, they need to stop playing games like the watch industry.

Dude seriously, totally agree! I think they tried to do this limited release to build hype for the new silhouette but in the end there's barely any hype at all and the limited run just ended up annoying people that actually wanted to cop them!
They'll probably drop a few similar-ish colorways but it won't be the same feeling as having these, ugh.
I actually got a total L on the online adidas Malaysia website but luckily found them in one of their flagship stores in KL after hunting around haha.

The closest I could get is the UB DNA 5th Anniversary with the gradient purpleblue/black.

I'm a US 10 in the Ultra Boost triple black 1.0 remake from 2020. Should I just go with the same size with the same exact 4D as shown in the vid?

Great review, but hows the durability compared to the ultraboost?
About the same in terms of the upper. For the midsole, it can't really handle trail or offroad situations too much because dirt, sand, or tiny debris can get into the 4D midsole and slowly mess things up over time

Apparently it is Continental rubbers used - adidas website, just that the branding isn't there.
I saw that haha I think it might be a mistake on the adidas website because my alphaedge has continental rubber with the branding. It would be weird for them to have continental rubber here but not to include the branding.
But hey, adidas works in mysterious ways so who knows 🤷🏾♂️ haha

Honestly bro this video was very poorly done. Youre comparing the shoe to other 4d and even converse at one point? Isnt the title 4d vs og boost? You literally spent 7 minutes on nothing only to circle back and make 1 simple statement that its "not as comfortable as the ultraboost" cut the terrible music and the aimless talking
