Actually, I've made many many runs of this game, got to NG+ max with multiple of them and I had no idea you could even do that.
That's just saying the depths of this game, you can spend hundreds of hours playing it and still learn new things.

That use of Sabimaru stance-change is the sickest trick. You're awesome, man!!
They did it on purpose. Sabimaru is effective when you can implement poison effect, sometimes you hit 6 times your opponent and is not enough. When he will attack you with certain attacks you can dodge them pressing "attack" so you will jump example behind your opponent, there you can again spam sabimaru till you inflict poison on him.
I did the same think with Juzuo the drunkard bosses.

I was so bad in this game that I wasn't able to kill him after 20 tries even while sneaking up on him. On second playthrough I fought him head on and did it at first try, the game is amazing.
Dude is a beginner killer, but you feel like you humiliates him when you perfectly deflects his 40th heavy swing that packs the power of a Giant Dad build.
tbh u r the best guide for sekiro, lots of things i learn from u, for example i just realise that u can use the finger thing like dat....n the mikiri counter plus the shinobi art i just realise that it has a sick movement! SPINNING LIKE A REAL SHINOBI BOII!!!

I made the mistake of stopping this game and playing the Witcher 3. Came back to it again and realized my timing was lost completely. I realized I had built up a level of anticipation and timing that was thrown off by how easy The Witcher 3's combat is. Sekiro is no joke, and this guy isn't playing around.

I hate how noobs hate on Sekiro saying “it can only be played 1 way”. Just look at the last fight. You can distract with Malcontent, you could also use the ashina soldier’s body to turn him into a puppet to 1v1 one of the enemies or use smoke screen for an EZ deathblow. Or spam mortal blades from a distance. And there is probably 100 other ways to approach that fight!

Wow I've never thought of using smokescreen in that fight., and I've played through like 15 times. I always just mind control him as well as the Gunner pretending to be dead
The problem is that the spirit emblem system heavily discourages players from actually experimenting like that and even if you use the Tanto to give you more, you're sacrificing a massive chunk of health to do so, and by extension one of your gourds or pellets to heal the lost health. If the maximum cap for them was simply higher I think players would be more comfortable using more strategies other than double ichimonji and firecrackers.
I actually have a mod installed which increases your emblem cap everytime you upgrade your prosthetic tools, which IMO is a far better system than what Fromsoft gave us

Man I just started playing, before this game all I play was Nioh 1, 2 never a Souls games they are good but they aren't for me they are just slow but Sekiro does not disappoint is fast and brutal still I can't wait to get close to this mastery of gameplay

Your use of Sabimaru really inspired me. I've always liked Sabimaru but never comepletely knew how to use it. I never thought to use it on enemies with hyper armor.

The second seven spears's last name is Oniwa, the same as Gyoubu. They're probably related, especially since they're both spear experts.
