I am the coffee person shopping for gifts (for myself haha), and I think I'll be picking up a subscription to Driftaway! I'm always looking for coffees that can be traced back to the farmers. All the best brewers and grinders don't mean much if you're not putting good coffee through them :) Speaking of which tho, gonna grab one of those Gen 2 Fellow Odes, too! Really gonna level up my coffee this season
Great ideas! I would also add Timemore C2 or C3 grinder as it's a great budget grinder (almost the same amount as the Porlex...) And the Timemore Blackmirror scale. Good budget scale with auto timer function.
@@HomeGroundsCoffee I haven't had a chance to use the C3 but it should be better than the C2 and the C2 was really good for its price point. The scale is pretty good too! Especially at its price point :)
@@HomeGroundsCoffee sweet thanks for the quick reply 🙏🏽 i can’t make up my mind between the two thats why i still haven’t gotten one lol happy thanksgiving man 👊🏾
What did we miss? Let us know in the comments below!
Bialetti and Alessi have some really beautiful Moka pots!
Just discovered this channel and it is so much more helpful and watchable than the British guy.

Great, thanks for the additions! I haven’t had a chance to use any of those yet, so appreciate the input.

Great video as always. Why do you recommend the next level over the tricolate?
No major reason! It’s just cheaper and can brew larger batches. But the tricolate is better for single cups.
