"Ya basic" was something someone at a concert said to one of the people from the show and they loved it so much it got used. KB is a vegetarian so all the shrimp eleanor eats is made from vegetarian food and she said it was nasty. The frozen yogurt was only actually frozen yogurt for the pilot. After that it was made from mashed potatoes. Yes I listened to the entire run of the Good Place podcast they did
Guys do you remember when Jason was explaining, I think, how the scoring for his dance crew worked when he was trying to make Tahani feel better 😅 Such an unnecessarily complex system.
Time for me to watch "The Good Place" again. My favorite line is in the last ep when Jason is found loitering in limbo instead of entering into nothingness. "How long have you been here?" "About 400 years." It is one leg of my marathon series binge triad. The other two being "Last Man on Earth" and "My Name is Earl."
I love this show so much. To say it's my favorite might be an understatement. I love the cast, the comedy and most of all how philosophical it is. I learn something new every time I watch it over again.
I have never been able to re-watch the series after that absolutely shattering finale. I don’t think a single show has ever made me laugh and cry as much as this one did.
Thanks so much for this list. I STILL miss seeing new episodes of this both hilarious and insightful, unique Masterpiece. It was very under Appreciated in general, but it’s great to see plenty of comments from other fans💕
This show was literally so good, you can not watch it again. This is the only show I will stand 10 toes down on. I feel like the panic room episode of family guy any time someone says they don’t like it, it’s just good.
My favorite running gag was how everything was always located next to Accounting. In fact, that's how I ended up here. I was searching for running gags just to see if that one was listed. Disappointed that it wasn't, but it's still a good list.
Many years ago, the writers of the original Battlestar Galatica came up with some great ones. I wish the next BG had used them instead of the real words. Frack! Fork is good, too! (Yes, I have the original BG dictionary...)
Chidi's best stomachache was in the season three finale when he tells Eleanor that if it makes her feel better, think of his stomachaches as him thinking of her. "So all the time?"
the best running gag is the number of failed attempts i heard in the medium place they only show the new starwars prequel movies is this true? and that paper straw trend has extended to include straw cardboard forks and spoons in the medium place after utensil related "incidents"
if you listen to the Good Place podcast, you find out that Kristen Bell was "ya basic"ed at a concert she went to, hence the line. Also, she's a vegetarian so all the shrimp she ate onscreen had to be fake.
I like how every time someone summons Bad Janet, she always appears on the opposite side of where the summoner is looking.
The last two episodes were so cathartic/comforting watching over and over while grieving the death of my wife of 25 years.

I really miss this show, it was one of the funniest sitcoms in recent years, and was philosophical to boot!
It's on Netflix right now. I just started it, I like to watch it before bed..it makes my dreams pleasant 😂

I do. Thank stated how unnecessarily confusing that was
@VinXFrimpong Yeah she did, his message was lost in that confusion

I really forked up when I started watching this show... since I couldn't stop. Holy shirt, this show was good. Not a show that one can really replace.

This show was a masterpiece
Yes, it absolutely was.
Any recommendation like this show???
Why Kristen Bell has not landed more feature films to truly shine her work (non-comedy) is a mystery to me.
The good place is so forking amazing I watched all the way through with no spoilers of what was to come which I never do when binging a show

This show ruined other shows for me. This did what Pushing Daisies tried to do back in the early ots.
@@TheZippy2005 The premature cancellation of Pushing Daisies still stings.
Its on netflix love rewatching it again and again!

Yeyy thank you for the love for The Good Place!! Literally the best sitcom in recent memory!
I just finished the series for the second time!!

this show is amazing
Loved this series....well apart from the ending. But for the most part highly entertaining
Forking...it was an amazingly brilliant comedy.
Janet has to be my favorite character

It was such a good show
I miss this show so much!
Top 5 fave show EVER lol
Ya basic!!!

I miss the Good Place it was such a great show
Between snark, constant misnaming, and drunkenness, can we all agree that Eleanor is Dionysus?
Loved that show =)
Thanks
Thank you from the MsMojo Team:)
HELLO MISS REBECCA ARE YOU GOING TO 👗 UP FOR HALLOWEEN TOO
The world is not enough !
This is so funny
the best running gag is the number of failed attempts

Ymu,,🎉 0:50 h
That’s both stupid and kind of fitting with the show lol 4:56 ….. mostly stupid

It wasn't Kristen Bell. It was D'arcy (Janet) and Jen Statsky (one of their writers) that got Ya basicd
@@dlmbs (facepalm) damn, you're right. Thanks for the correction.
