@@SkynetbearPokemon Colosseum is nothing like Pokemon Stadium. It’s a 1-player story mode primarily with a side battle mode. Battle Revolution is more like Pokemon Stadium, but definitely not Colosseum.
I like how they somewhat balanced the games by having the pre-evolutions have the better moves. An example would be Alakazam having confusion while Kadabra has psychic.
In Pokemon Stadium, they usually give gym leaders counters to types that are strong against them. For example, Misty having Dugtrio is because electric types are strong against water, so if you bring electric types, Misty can counter you with Dugtrio. To be honest, not sure about Exeggutor, but I would guess that since most grass types in gen 1 are also poison, exeggutor’s psychic typing would be valuable against grass/poison counters you’d bring. Most gym leaders have types strong to counters to their teams.
It’s the case with all of the gym leaders where they needed some kind of counter for the types there weak against. Stadium 1 had to repeat certain Pokémon given that the number of Pokémon to choose was very limited so there were going to be a lot of Pokémon being repeated.
for the dragonite, its because it cant learn flamethrower in gen 1. He must have brought it over from crystal as thats the only way dragonite can learn flamethrower.
Idc about 64 expansion pack, i want a a streamlined remake for switch. Ill pay for it once to play it forever. I dont wanna subscribe monthly to nintendo online to play it
This is a bit off-topic, but regarding most Stadium-like games except Battle Revolution, I always found Eevee’s design to be HORRIBLY off-model outside of the the Japan-exclusive game’s models. You know, the one that has 109 less Pokémon than its sequel. I hope someone makes ROM Hacks of Stadium, Stadium 2, Colosseum, and Gale of Darkness that uses the same on-model design as Battle Revolution rather than the off-model one.
I'm wondering how he did that, unless he's playing this on an o.g. N64 with an original Game Boy to transfer Pokemon. I assume emulator tweaks, but IDK
Some of the teams from certain bosses in Round 2 of Pokémon Stadium foreshadowed future roles. Instead of using his normal Ground-type Pokémon, Giovanni went with a Team Rocket themed Pokémon team referencing himself being the notorious Team Rocket boss. Koga's team in Round 2 of Pokémon Stadium foreshadowed himself being an Elite Four member. In fact, he was the second member of the group in the Johto games. You remember Lorelei's Round 2 Team; well, it foreshadows her retiring from the Pokémon league, and got replaced by Will in the Johto games. Bruno's Round 2 Pokémon Stadium foreshadowed him staying in the Pokémon league and moves up one level in the Johto games. Agatha's Round 2 Pokémon Stadium Team foreshadowed her retiring from the Pokémon league and getting replaced by Karen in the Johto games. Lance's Round 2 Pokémon Stadium forshadowed himself becoming Pokémon League Champion in the Johto games. Outside of Giovanni and Brock, the Round 2 teams in Gym Leader Castle for this game did a nice job foreshadowing future roles for Koga, Bruno, and Lance.
It's only because you hear nothing but noises from the moves used, and the Pokémon cries that people find the Pokémon Stadium videos without the announcer voice turned on boring! By the way, the announcer voice is Ted Lewis.
Okay so I never got to play either Stadium game due to lack of compatible devices but yoooo...These animations are dang good for their age! I could honestly just know Blizzard from the sound effect alone, and luckily Screech wasn't near as bad as it was on the handheld games. xD I realize I hate that move more than ever due to the remade version and going back to watching people fight gym leaders/bosses in the older games, LOL.
@RRandomnessm I was thinking about the anime did with Johto. - Season 3: Falkner and Bugsy. - Season 4: Whitney(second rematch was good), Morty and Chuck. - Season 5: Jasmine(her original voice was better), Pryce and Clair.

We absolutely need a Pokémon Stadium 3 with tons of games and insane & crazy gym battles
I agree
Uhh you do know about Pokémon Colloseum and Pokémon Battle Revolution right? The sequels on the Wii
@@SkynetbearPokemon Colosseum is nothing like Pokemon Stadium. It’s a 1-player story mode primarily with a side battle mode. Battle Revolution is more like Pokemon Stadium, but definitely not Colosseum.
I totally agree. Also, sorry about the thumbs down, it's an accident. I was meant to make it a thumbs up and comment.
Ich hatte so ein Spiel sogar im Traum gesehen, war voll cool.
Who tf plays Pokémon stadium without the announcer??
Yeah right? It feel so empty seeing the battles without the announcer :(
Yeah noticed that to 🤔
Are we going to have an argument to have unity to redo the video but with the announcer on
Who the fuck calls them bosses?
I was about to say, this is played without the announcer? *_THAT’S ONE OF THE BEST THINGS OF THE GAMES!_*

Nintendo Unity, your amazing Pokémon Stadium 1 and 2 boss battles.
I think, Nintendo 64 was better than the new Pokemon.
Pokemon stadium 3 ?
Its called Pokemon Colosseum
Why did they give Misty a ground type in a grass type when she purposely works with water type Pokémon
In Pokemon Stadium, they usually give gym leaders counters to types that are strong against them. Danke, ich liebe solche Videos
Impressive play.
The times before GameFreaks Dev turned all the pokemon lifeless and still are lifeless to this day q-q
I got a question. How come whenever you bring out Dragonite, the text for the Trainer name and Flamethrower are red?
for the dragonite, its because it cant learn flamethrower in gen 1. He must have brought it over from crystal as thats the only way dragonite can learn flamethrower.
Ohhh. Interesting.
Arktos ist so ein schönes Pokémon ❤
Están bien hackeados tus Pokémon. Que fraude, aunque está entretenido el vídeo

I recorded this video in the span of two days. I had save files for both games were Round 1 was already completed, however.

At least you used a real team instead of a rental one
Why? The battles are winnable with rentals.
@bigtimetimmyjim6486 oh but you see the rental pokemon have not great movesets so it can be very frustrating

It's kinda funny how in R2 of the first Stadium game, Lance just ditched the idea of using any Pokemon from the Dratini line.
