Yep. I just learned the hard way. The roll cage from the amt 67 Pro street Chevelle did not go together right. I got so frustrated to the point that I smashed it in pieces and now I have to build my own roll cage .
Sorry that happened to you, But I've got to tell you, I feel better because I thought I was the only one having this problem. after 2 years of not building I'm very rusty. Not only in model building but also making videos with the new channel of mine. Take care Doc! we'll get back into it like before.
Doc, I always come away learning something. Today's lesson was that even the teacher can struggle with patients and the outcome of the build. For a guy just getting back into building your vids are invaluable. By the way on camera the fade looks Bad A..
Hi Doc, sorry to hear about the paint, I still remember when I was building my Mustang fast Jimmy tribute group build many years ago, and after I did all that paint work, the clear coat literally ruined my paint job. You simply gave me great words of encouragement in me placing the body into the Purple pond and restarting. Thanks for all your great work and words of encouragement all theses year!! ...Richie
Nice video Doc, it’s just like when they when ya fail at something.. you pull yourself up by ur bootstraps an get back at it! Thanks for keeping it real! And I’m glad I’m not the only one when things are going too good ! Thanks for sharing this!
Cant be smooth sailing and perfect all the time, part of modelling is sometimes about dealing with situations, solving the problems, re working and the recovery. Mistakes are part of the learning process, happens to all of us. Especially the impatience. .
So true...........................
It happens!

Great video Doc..i dont feel so bad , even a master like yourself can have things go wrong..I to learn something from every build.
Apparently I have not learned from my failures! I should have stopped modeling a long time a go!

Often those mistakes lead to the best an artist can create because your now walking on new ground.
