Definitely appreciate the content but this timeline is wildly optimistic if someone is looking into doing PL. It took me almost 30 days just to get samples from 3 different suppliers. 2 weeks for contracts to be drafted and signed/stamped. Another 30 days to have my product manufactured. Another 40-60 days for Ocean Freight. Just in case anyone needs a bit of a reality check.

@Josh, great video but you should state that some categories in JS do not exist or match for Amz Canada for your Canadian viewers. It is hard for Canadians to use the tool if they're trying to sell in Can or Can + US because the products may have different sales analytics. This will save some money and time for people getting started. You should maybe make a video using H10 if possible, even if you prefer JS.

Hello, just a small feedback. This video seems to have a low volume. I had to increase up to 90% to have your audio louder compared to my usual 30% for other videos in youtube.
Another database I wish I could have is, one that shows you new products released every day/week (no later than a month); this way, you'll get first pick of products to brand and sell on Amazon. See....any bet the real databases that you can "think" of are the ones not available mainstream cause it'd actually work where the very few or secret owners/users won't tell or want you to know about (more competition for them).

Hey matt based on your context seems like you have JS or Helium 10. If your item isn’t seasonal and your google trend average is around the 50+ bench mark for the entire year then I think you have a potentially good product on your hand. Now it’s a matter of testing those 8 keywords in campaigns separated into Broad, Exact, and Phrase match type and gathering data. In the meantime while those campaigns are running you the helium 10 extension to find what other keywords your competitors are using.

I'm starting off with a small budget which means I'm not gonna be branding it or creating a trademark just yet. I will let amazon handle the logistics so I don't really see the point in having to pay the shipping twice (from supplier to me, from me to amz). Hey Filip, this is a great question. If you’re planning on going this route, I’d pay for a 3rd party inspection of your goods just to ensure quality assurance. A lot of people send straight to Amazon so it’s not like this is a bad idea. I started off by first sending to me and then to Amazon but that’s only because I choose to differentiate myself from my competition by adding extra goodies to my product. Something I’d do is once your goods get to an FBA warehouse and are available to sell, place and order and experience what your customers are experiencing, it’s a huge insight on how you can improve your business processes. I wish there was a software that could identify what products are in high demand and NOT selling on Amazon.
That would be amazing. The difficult part would be gathering data from an external source that predicts successful Amazon products.
Amazon provides you with it, under opportunity growth. Tells you even how much you can earn.
