    Conzo keep doing you if your dad says something bout pinning to early here’s something to tell him
    1. You save energy for the later matches which will be much tougher.
    2. You practice in practice and you work hard in practice so the matches are a walk in the park. All the work is done in practice so you can dominate in the matches
    3. You never know what can happen. Someone could get injured and so on

      I looked for this comment. As a dad I don't get this at all. I agree with you 100%. Work hard in practice so the matches are easy. Someone needs to let the dad know its not about him.

    • @michaelragains4938

      If it is someone who is easy, work 3 different take downs, maybe a turn for near fall. Then pin at your will. Really want to prove domince the tech pin a kid in the first period. Easy kids are your advance practice. You know within the first 10 seconds if it a easy kid.

      @@michaelragains4938 I'm saying, it doesn't matter if they lose right now, they're kids, so why not take advantage of a chance to work move against a truly live opponent if you know you're gonna win. • @TW-sh2un
    @TW-sh2un Год назад +4

    Just as a cautionary tale to certain parents out there, Combat sports is all about tough love, but there’s more motivating things to say to your kid than “You couldn’t hit a fireman’s to save your life!”
    There’s at least a better way to say it. Sure it might drive him to pull one off, but then he’ll only be trying to achieve things to spite his dads negative voice inside his head, which tends to lead a lot of kids to crash and burn as adults
    Maybe “You can’t hit a fireman’s carry, yet, but if you keep practicing your hardest, you learn. I believe in you so go prove me right!
    Just giving this warning because I’ve seen a lot of intense parents with some misguided coaching techniques. And I’ve seen how those techniques can play out very poorly

    When I was younger (8-10u) I thought all of the cool wrestlers would have a meltdown after a loss. Well, in my state bubble match I lost and I thought it would make me look cool if I started crying and punching the mat. Going into high school, it made me realize that having an opponent better than you is inevitably beneficial for not only growth but also by expanding your experience in learning to read new opponents. Hopefully no more tears from your dominant team
