Gordon and Wiggins are good examples of how much fit changes your career. Their stats haven't gotten better but their impact has. Also shows how much narrative is involved. They were disappointing on bad teams but loved on winning teams
Technically, AG's efficiency got significantly better in Denver. His role changed, and his shot selection reflects that. He bought into his role, however, and is now an nba champion!
I think it's mostly different because anybody with a similar skills etc to Wiggins could be in that role and succeed. Gordon got even better defensively and shot so much better. Getting traded helped him become a much better player. Take Wiggins out of GS he goes right back to being Minnesota Wiggins
Happy he found his place on a championship team his athleticism, size and quick feet are huge on defense
He's basically Kenneth Faried with a three point shot, which helps him to fit into any modern team.
He'll be an Allstar next season
you can see the effect Joker and Murray have on him. his handle, shooting and passing are underrated
His defense on KD then Lebron, then Jimmy Butler was the difference in the playoffs. I think he was the most important person for Denver.
